WWE SNME on Jan 24 2026 Ratings Chart:

WWE SNME on Jan 24 2026 Highs:

Aj Styles and Shinsuke Nakamura tear the house down properly for the first time in WWE. Having a match that has the psychology, that has the storytelling of their past. AJ Styles working through nerves with his career in doubt and engaging in the fighting spirit alongside Shinsuke Nakamura. Easily their best match in WWE, easily Shinsuke Nakamura’s best match since Sami Zayn. If AJ is truly done so soon it’s going to be tough.

Cody Rhodes and Jacob Fatu walked into SNME and neither was gonna be able to lose. In comparison to last year’s Strowman Vs Fatu match at SNME, we did not start the match. A heated brawl throughout the arena ends with Drew McIntyre laying both out and putting both men through separate tables. Drew McIntyre is Smackdown’s most wanted and it is great and refreshing.

WWE SNME on Jan 24 2026 More Highs:

The women’s tag team championship is the best women’s division in the company right now. Giving them time, lets them deliver in great lengths. The Raquel interference provided an amazing ref bump. Stephanie Vaquer came back and is without the walking boot. All four women in the match were awesome, Liv and Iyo got great chemistry, Roxanne is so talented as well. Rhea always gets great pops and the crowd wanted Rhea to go after Liv for the hot tag. Was well done and I am excited for the Judgment Day girls to have something happen in the Rumble.

If there was a way to get Sami Zayn hot again, it was giving him international crowds, Montreal and Saudi Arabia. A very fun four way that saw Trick Williams look like a million bucks. Randy Orton continued to be Randy Orton having his fun moments as well. Sami Zayn getting the win was the right call and this was an enjoyable match.

WWE SNME on Jan 24 2026 Overall Summary…

WWE SNME on Jan 24 2026 had the best event since the return of the Saturday Night’s Main Event branding. With three high quality matches. An amazing Montreal crowd. Great moments like the major brawl with Cody and Jacob, Sami winning in Montreal and AJ Styles/Shinsuke Nakamura having the best match they have had under the WWE banner. A show that had great flow, didn’t have any dull moments and more importantly no ads during the matches.

WWE Raw Jan 19 2026 Ratings Chart:

WWE Raw Jan 19 2026 Highs:

Belfast brought the heat for an amazing atmosphere. Whether it was for Finn Balor, or being hostile towards Logan Paul. The crowd was very hot and absolutely added to the event. Adding to the main event in a great way. Their support for Finn Balor really helped you get invested even with Punk as a makeshift heel.  Both getting great nearfalls with the crowd. Punk and Finn sharing respect was fun to see. Finn’s face turn hopefully this year can be great.

Tensions between The Vision and Adam Pearce are getting entertaining with Pearce approaching his breaking point. While its not exactly the best place for the Vision hinting that they are out of the main title picture, but Adam Pearce is severely great when he is this angry.

Judgment Day Girls stand tall and they look good as a trio. Roxanne Perez, Liv Morgan and Raquel Rodriguez could run roughshod all over the division and it would be great. Hopefully the road to wrestlemania is eventful for the three as it going later into the year could make us loss interest.

Gunther and Aj Styles are in a bit of an unpredictable spot with the show revolving around Aj Styles debating about putting his career on the line. Its exciting as both results don’t seem ideal. AJ retiring as soon as the rumble would be a bummer, but Gunther losing wouldn’t be ideal for his direction either.

WWE Raw Jan 19 2026 Lows:

Maxxine Dupri has an alright showing with Becky Lynch again. While something did happen. The fact that Natalya screwing Maxxine has little to no importance because of their relationship barely being defined is a disservice to her growth. The post match attack sucked and the crowd really didn’t care. Maxxine and Natalya was a dynamic that never properly grew on TV aside from like one backstage talk and some videos. Natalya’s involvement felt random and Becky’s losing steam with her broken record-esque promos.

The tag team division is back to directionless. They heated it up a little bit with the New Day and Usos stuff before The Usos won the belts from Dragon and Styles. Jey Uso cutting a promo in the crowd focusing on the Rumble someone ruins excitement for this. New Day being right about the division dying, woof.

Of course an apparent injury scare for Je’Von Evans isn’t great to see.

WWE Raw Jan 19 2026 Overall Summary…

WWE Raw Jan 19 2026 brings an entertaining event from Belfast where the crowd absolutely elevated everything involved. CM Punk and Finn Balor have a fun main event and both championship defend successfully. Adam Pearce’s breaking point is getting closer and closer and he is so good in his role. Gunther and AJ Styles have an unpredictable road ahead with The Royal Rumble possibly having AJ Styles’ retirement match? The show built around AJ Styles reflecting on taking up Gunther’s stipulation was well done. While Natalya turning on Maxxine fell flat and Je’Von Evans lost due to stoppage, there were a couple low points on an overall fun episode of Raw.

WWE Raw January 12 2026 Ratings Chart:

WWE Raw January 12 2026 Highs:

What a main event. Gunther and AJ Styles with a first time ever classic. AJ Styles, a man with a motivation to make Gunther tap out to get revenge for John Cena. Targeting the leg of Gunther. Gunther knew how to sell a damaged leg throughout the match, showing it in moves, even being unable to use it for leverage in a powerbomb. The finish saw Gunther taps out to AJ Styles while the ref could not see, AJ Styles completely enraged with submitting him, gets wrapped up in the ref not seeing it. Gunther low blows and powerbombs AJ Styles to get the win as the ref was clearing the situation with the time keeper. Amazing match from bell to bell that was special to see. There is definitely room for a rematch.

Liv Morgan continues to be a vital part of the program. Finally arriving to the tag division with Roxanne along with being a catalyst for Finn Balor early on in the show. Pushing Finn to do something, causing Finn to go after CM Punk. Punk seems to have a newish direction, a short program with Finn that might not go past next week. He also hinted at wanting to pursue title defenses on the road to Wrestlemania at the Rumble and Chamber.

WWE Raw January 12 2026 Highs Continued

The women’s tag team division is hot, with a lot of great talent within it. Liv Morgan, Roxanne Perez, Bayley, Lyra Valkyria, Asuka and Kairi Sane, and the champions RhIyo. It arguably feels like the most important division on the women’s side of things for both brands. Kairi takes the pin, so a hint that Kairi and Asuka will start to go down the wrong path. Liv and Roxanne Vs RhIyo should be a banger if it gets time on SNME. Raquel Rodriguez is starting to feel like a threat for Stephanie as well. A champion with honor that very well could fall on her own blade.

Adam Pearce knows how to be the highlight and succeeds when he and Bron Breakker get physical. Adam suspended Bron Breakker after he ruined a tag match where Penta and Dragon Lee looked great together. Heyman giving the nugget of where this gets interesting and that was Pearce put his hands on Breakker first.

WWE Raw January 12 2026 Lows:

Becky Lynch Vs Maxxine Dupri part six or seven? Another rematch and for what? Becky is currently wheel spinning if we are just waiting to reignite the AJ Lee feud for Wrestlemania. Maxxine has grown a lot and continues to shine, but this is overexposure and to say we need a sixth Maxxine Vs Becky match is a stretch. Something has to happen next week, end this feud.

WWE Raw January 12 2026 Overall Summary…

WWE Raw January 12 2026 brings an awesome show. With a dream match for many, Gunther and AJ Styles delivering a result that has room for a second. New directions for Punk and The Vision separately. Liv Morgan and Roxanne Perez going for the tag titles. Bron Breakker being amazing like we know he is. A great atmosphere for everyone involved and it wasn’t hard to have a good time with Raw with fun moments in and outside of the matches.

WWE Raw Jan 5 2025 Chart

WWE Raw Jan 5 2025 Highs:

The main high of this show seems to be the main event. As a whole the only match to go out of your way to see is this match. Aside from a couple slips/rough bumps, CM Punk sold the damage and the offense of Breakker to great lengths. After the vision tried to interference, Penta, Dragon Lee and Rey Mysterio all made the save to even the odds. I am glad Bron and Punk got more time beyond that as well. Some fun counters and reversals. Punk hitting a piledriver, trading cross faces and anaconda vices. Breakker fails to capture the title as Punk retains.

After months of feuding Raquel Rodriguez was protected in defeat last week, but now finally feels threatening. Raquel attacking an injured Stephanie Vaquer in the manner that she did, gave her some heat. It adds some excitement for what can happen within the Judgment Day girls stuff. It’s a good attack again that gives Raquel heat and engages us in Stephanie being viewable as an underdog.

WWE Raw Jan 5 2025 Lows:

After weeks of all of the gloating, AJ Styles can slap Gunther and Gunther just mean mugs him like AJ put Orange Juice in his cereal. Gunther isn’t directionless anymore as he has a one way ticket to Germany to brutalize AJ Styles. Getting slapped and doing nothing was such a cowardice act and feels odd to say when we have been trying to reinvigorate him with the new presentation and the big win.

Maxxine Dupri got the ball, people were excited to see her with the title. They presented her well with the video packages, the promos with Becky. Just like that two months of progress was taken away. Its an odd yet understandable decision but this match was such an afterthought.  RhIyo with the titles is the right choice as well as Kairi and Asuka are destined to split with Kairi being the true face we know she is.

This Raw was meant to be two things. The anniversary show since going to Netflix. And a Stranger Things crossover special. Not once did either feel important. The production side was cool if you liked the series, but when Michael Cole said Raw is gonna get Strange and nothing special happens this crossover event becomes redundant. WWE was in a lose lose scenario because if they relied too heavily on Stranger Things it becomes one of the Raw XXX/25 or Legends Nights that can be fun but don’t do much for the show itself. The option they chose was work with special production but it didn’t matter after the first little segment with Cole and Corey coming out of the one vehicle.

WWE Raw Jan 5 2025 Overall Summary…

WWE Raw Jan 5 2025 failed to do anything important for the Raw on Netflix Anniversary or the Stranger Things crossover aside from altered production graphics. With a show filled with championship matches and only one of them actually delivering properly. The night was dominated by the Women’s Division with several new champions and finally some heat for the rivalry that the Women’s World Champion has been apart of. The Brooklyn crowd was tough to please as they really only cared about parts of the women’s tag title match and the main event. As a whole this was a weak Raw that did not deliver what it could have.

MUST WATCH Naomi Vs Iyo Sky Vs Rhea Ripley – Women’s World Championship: WWE Summerslam 2025 Sunday Opening Match

Fundamentals: 1

Atmosphere: 1

Storytelling: 1

Psychology: 1

Innovation: 0.75

This match kicked the show off in the right way. With a banger, while it had a tough bar to jump over compared to other triple threat openers this year at Mania and Evolution. This was very well done. All Women got their support and built a well done match. Structuring around the dynamic that Rhea and Iyo have bad blood with Naomi for ruining their main event match. So it was being built up to the eventual moment that they could go head to head. Iyo and Rhea doing the pointing taunt is just a fun moment. Elevating what they have done in the past to make it fresher when Iyo got the diving sunset bomb and powerbombed Rhea onto Naomi.

Just when Rhea gets the avalanche riptide from the top, she might finally get the chance to beat Iyo, Naomi steals the win by rolling Rhea up. A broken, distraught Rhea as Naomi retains.

Results: Naomi by Pinfall via School Boy Roll Up On Rhea

Coby Galenzoski WR Star Rating – 4.75 Stars

PERFECT Wyatt Sick6 Vs Street Profits Vs MCMG Vs DIY Vs Fraxiom Vs Rey Fenix and Andrade – Tag Team Championship TLC Match:

The potential uncontrollable chaos existed for how this match could play out. This was off the charts electric with unique table spots and sequences. One of the gnarlist bumps from Candice LeRae after being pushed off the ladder accidentally by DIY. The numbers game remains the game that the Wyatt Sick6 will prevail with. After interferences by Nikki Cross, Erick Rowan and eventually Uncle Howdy. Gacy and Lumis are able to retain the championships. The bar was set so high from the post mania ladder match earlier this year but this failed to underdeliver. This was very fun from bell to bell and continued the momentum from the first match.

Results: Joe Gacy by Object Retrieval

Coby Galenzoski WR Star Rating – 5.00 Stars

AMAZING Becky Lynch Vs Lyra Valkyria – WWE Women’s Intercontinental Championship, No DQ, No Count Outs:

Fundamentals: 0.75

Atmosphere: 0.75

Storytelling: 0.75

Psychology: 1

Innovation: 0.75

To follow a chaotic and chaos filled ladder match with the longest women’s match of the weekend, is a strong and tough choice. This match is 25 minutes long and it went too long. The crowd was not good for it. With the crowd just not being top notch, the length of this match is felt. Spending a lot of time with Lyra with her wrists ziptied, even getting caught putting her wrists back in the ziptie. It just takes a long time to build this match. They do well psychologically with how Lyra and Becky sell, and how they provide important to the big moments with the chair and how the crow bar was viewed as something that dangerous.

When Becky got the Crowbar out, Bayley ended up stopping her. After a brawl with Bayley and Becky we saw a running leg drop through a table from Valkyria to Lynch. Bayley would strike Lyra by accident giving Becky the chance to win with the man handle slam. Rating wise this is the weakest of the trilogy but with a stipulation being both somewhat of a benefit but also a bit of a downfall.

Results: Becky Lynch by Pinfall via ManHandle Slam

Coby Galenzoski WR Star Rating – 4.00 Stars

GOOD Solo Sikoa Vs Jacob Fatu – WWE United States Championship Steel Cage Match:

Fundamentals: 0.75

Atmosphere: 1

Storytelling: 0.50

Psychology: 0.50

Innovation: 0.50

This is a tough match, because what we are all going to remember happened right after the match. Jacob Fatu moonsaulting off the top of the ladder. In comparison to the previous match the crowd was active here. They chanted against Solo Sikoa and were very much supportive of Jacob Fatu. The wrestling was fine but it felt like this match really didn’t get the chance to develop anything. We get moments of JC Mateo, Tonga Loa and Talla Tonga being ringside and Jey Uso being the guy to help on the outside. Talla Tonga climbed the cage and handcuffed Jacob to the top but Jacob broke out of the cuffs. Solo kicking out of several springboard moonsaults is an odd choice for one of Jacob’s big spots. Talla Tonga kicks the cage door to hit Jacob and help Solo out of the cage. This was not that good.

Results: Solo Sikoa by Escaping The Cage via Talla Tonga aiding him through the Door.

Coby Galenzoski WR Star Rating – 3.25 Stars

GREAT Dominik Mysterio Vs AJ Styles – WWE Intercontinental Championship:

Fundamentals: 0.75

Atmosphere: 1

Storytelling: 0.75

Psychology: 0.75

Innovation: 0.50

20 years later we have Dominik Mysterio in a summerslam ring defending an IC title. After the custody of dom ladder match. This match was built as an Eddie tribute. With AJ Styles entering in a low rider with his own son, wearing custom Eddie type gear. Doing Eddie Lie Cheat and Steal stuff like the chair spot. Inadvertently kicking each other in the balls. AJ is using the calf crusher and Dominik had unzipped the boot so his foot slipped out of the submission. He used the boot to strike AJ before hitting a frog splash for a win. A very fun match as a whole.

Results: Dominik Mysterio by Pinfall via Frog Splash

Coby Galenzoski WR Star Rating – 3.75 Stars

PERFECT John Cena Vs Cody Rhodes – WWE Championship Street Fight: WWE Summerslam 2025 Sunday Main Event

This is very much one of the best matches that we have seen from John Cena in years. From the heated start they start in the second gear and go the distance hitting several others. With a crowd firmly behind the real John Cena who was there in color and the hustle loyalty respect was back. Its a hard hitting match with great table spots and great visuals. From John Cena carrying Cody on his shoulder as they rode the Codyvator. While there can be an argument of the finishers being overused, its not hard to get lost in them. Cody saluting Cena before the final cross Rhodes is poetic. The torch was passed and the crowd embraced Cody in victory.

Results: Cody Rhodes by Pinfall via Cross Rhodes

Coby Galenzoski WR Star Rating – 5.00 Stars

WWE Summerslam 2025 Sunday Overall…

WWE Summerslam 2025 Sunday brings a tremendous second night that showcased amazing wrestling. From the controlled chaos that TLC gave, to Naomi retaining her championship. Jacob Faut moonsaulted off of the steel cage. Bayley cost Lyra Valkyria and AJ Styles paying tribute to Eddie Guerrero. John Cena proved that he still had the hustle, loyalty, and respect by tearing the house down with Cody Rhodes in the main event. Torch passed and John Cena is once again beloved by everyone in the WWE Universe. After the classic main event, a shocking moment happened with the return of Brock Lesnar. Wrestling is popularized by making moments, and that is what has happened once again. An amazing night two with Summerslam being what Wrestlemania struggled to be this year.

AMAZING Bron Breakker and Bronson Reed Vs Roman Reigns and Jey Uso: WWE Summerslam 2025 Saturday Opening Match

Fundamentals: 0.75

Atmosphere: 1

Storytelling: 0.75

Psychology: 1

Innovation: 0.75

As a whole this is a fun opening match that goes a little longer than it probably should. There are instances of Breakker mocking Roman as he worked down on Jey Uso. Even Jey and Roman doing the Day One Ish encore in the middle of the match. It’s a fun match with a really good crowd, some crazy spots like Roman almost diving past but nothing more. There are good storytelling beats with Roman and Jey starting to overcome the dominance of Heyman’s duo. Roman helps Jey avoid moments of danger and saves him. Jey Uso being pushed out of the way of Bron’s spear is what gives Jey the edge. Bron spears Reigns and Jey takes over and gets the win on Reed.

Results: Jey Uso by Pinfall via Spear and Uso Splash on Reed.

Coby Galenzoski WR Star Rating – 4.25 Stars

AMAZING Raquel Rodriguez and Roxanne Perez Vs Alexa Bliss and Charlotte Flair – Women’s Tag Team Championships:

Fundamentals: 0.75

Atmosphere: 0.75

Storytelling: 0.75

Psychology: 1

Innovation: 0.75

As a whole this is a fun tag match that had the tough spot of following the longer and hotter opening tag match. This is well done with storytelling beats that revolve around Roxanne and Raquel gelling better as the team and putting Charlotte and Alexa in the position of underdogs. There is a great moment with a phenomenal forearm from Bliss to Flair. Flair has a genuinely brilliant sell with Alexa selling the shock as well. There is a really well done feel good moment where Alexa has Roxanne in the sister Abigail hold, and Charlotte proves she has Alexa’s back by giving a big boot to Raquel before Alexa gets the win.

Results: Alexa Bliss by Pinfall via Sister Abigail DDT on Roxanne Perez

Coby Galenzoski WR Star Rating – 4.00 Stars

GREAT Sami Zayn Vs Karrion Kross with Scarlett:

Fundamentals: 0.75

Atmosphere: 1

Storytelling: 0.75

Psychology: 0.75

Innovation: 0.50

Once again this is a methodical match from Karrion Kross. Hard hitting to start while they have a spurt outside of the ring. Kross gets his moments like a DVD and some of his doomsday saito suplexes. Karrion continues with the mindgames including the chance to use his lead pipe on Sami while Scarlett distracted the ref. Sami counters it and the pipe is sent outside of the ring. Zayn would start to lose control during the match, stomping on Kross on the ropes and the ref needed to pull him away. Scarlett would tempt Sami with the lead pipe with the crowd wanting it to happen, for Sami to give in. Sami threw the pipe outside of the ring almost getting some boos for it as he got the win with an exploder and helluva kick shortly after.

Results: Sami Zayn by Pinfall via Helluva Kick

Coby Galenzoski WR Star Rating – 3.75 Stars

GREAT Tiffany Stratton Vs Jade Cargill – WWE Women’s Championship:

Fundamentals: 0.50

Atmosphere: 1

Storytelling: 0.75

Psychology: 0.75

Innovation: 0.75

Tiffany and Jade have the shortest match on the card which is an interesting conversation as a whole. This is a hard hitting sprint with Jade getting pump kicks, and the two of them trading several counters of each other’s big spots. The kick out of the Jaded should have been a great moment but Jade was caught putting Tiffany’s leg on the rope. Which is a divisive talk as a whole. The PME got countered with a great looking up kick. Tiffany countering the super jaded wasn’t perfectly done but still got a really great reaction with both having strong percentages of the crowd supporting them. Tiffany gets a shock win with a PME in this overall solid enough sprint between the both of them.

Results: Tiffany Stratton by Pinfall via Prettiest Moonsault Ever

Coby Galenzoski WR Star Rating – 3.75 Stars

AMAZING Randy Orton and Jelly Roll Vs Drew McIntyre and Logan Paul:

Fundamentals: 0.75

Atmosphere: 1

Storytelling: 1

Psychology: 1

Innovation: 0.50

Jelly earns his stripes, he has respect of the people that trained with him. And he showed out. Not to the level of bad bunny or logan paul, this was a well done match. Jelly taking the frog splash through the table was a crazy moment that should go viral. Jelly and Randy both spend time on the defense being worked on by the heels Drew and Logan. As officials were trying to walk Jelly to the back, he saw his partner in distress and powered himself to make the hot tag. Getting the Black Roll Slam, and another chokeslam. A handful of finishers lead to Logan Paul hitting the Frog Splash for the win.

Results: Logan Paul by Pinfall via Paul From Grace Frog Splash On Jelly Roll

Coby Galenzoski WR Star Rating – 4.25 Stars

PERFECT Gunther Vs CM Punk – World Heavyweight Championship: WWE Summerslam 2025 Saturday Main Event

This was a match with Gunther dominating and controlling the pace. A story of CM Punk’s resilience and experience to get out of certain holds and positions. Getting a Sharpshooter out of Gunther’s own submission. The crowd is firmly against Gunther and in support of Punk and there are no dull moments. Punk gets little glimpses of hope and opportunity but Gunther regains control like the General he is. Gunther gets a little too cocky on the outside and Punk trips him on the announce table. Punk recovers by the ring as Gunther ends up bleeding from the forehead.

The was the tide turning, Gunther seeing his own blood. A final boss of a video game having the red beating health bar.  Gunther gets one last sleeper hold but Punk is able to get two GTS’ to upcoming the dominant champion. It’s a very well done match and a main event without outside interference.

Results: CM Punk by Pinfall via Consecutive GTS’ On Gunther

Coby Galenzoski WR Star Rating – 5.00 Stars

WWE Summerslam 2025 Saturday Overall…

WWE Summerslam 2025 Saturday kicks off the historic two night Summerslam with a bang. Enjoyable matches from start to finish, a great opener that saw Roman Reigns finally say sorry to Jey in possibly his own way. Taking a Bron Breakker shaped bullet in the best spear in the game. Jey got the win for himself and his cousin as they overcome the new force of Bronson and Bron. New tag team champions with Charlotte finally proving she has Alexa’s back. Sami Zayn finally defeated Kross with their gentlemen’s bet of who is right or wrong. Tiffany Stratton racks up a surprising win over Jade. Logan Paul proves superiority over outsider Jelly Roll.

Gunther and CM Punk have a classic war that might have gone too long, but it is amazing to say we had a PLE main event without outside interference for the first time in… months? As CM Punk overcame the Ring General, Seth Rollins came out and revealed the injury was faked. Seth Rollins had the Ruse of the century, as he cashed in on CM Punk in an amazing PLE ending. Summerslam Saturday was solidly done as a whole with room for more exciting happenings on the second event.

PERFECT Becky Lynch Vs Bayley Vs Lyra Valkyria – Women’s Intercontinental Championship: WWE Evolution 2025 Opening Match

This match is everything it needed to be and more. We know all their motives and who the characters are. Those mixed and concocted a compelling triple threat match that was off the charts. All women had their moments, with call backs to past matches with Becky and Lyra while also teasing the fact we know Becky and Bayley are horsewomen. Lyra got a great leg drop that Bayley hit the roseplant in. Brilliant pin break ups to protected finishers. Becky Lynch the heel champion, escapes the match by getting such a clean crucifix roll up on Bayley. Amazing finish to such a great match from bell to bell. Best way to start this card.

Results: Becky Lynch by Pinfall via Rolling Crucifix Roll Up On Bayley

Coby Galenzoski WR Star Rating – 5.00 Stars

MUST WATCH Jacy Jayne Vs Jordynne Grace – NXT Women’s Championship:

Fundamentals: 0.75

Atmosphere: 1

Storytelling: 1

Psychology: 0.75

Innovation: 1

This is just a very well done and solid match. Jacy was able to control the pacing of the match, she was able to get her heat during it. Getting the heat from the crowd by being cocky with what she was saying. There are great striking exchanges with Jordynne Grace getting her own set of chants. As Fatal Influence attempted to set something up, Blake Monroe had struck Fallon and Jazmyn. Holding the title on the outside of the ring and striking the back of Jordynne. Jacy connected with the Rolling encore for the win. The “Most beatable” champion escapes with Blake Monroe costing Jordynne Grace, but also respecting the current champion. Jacy had a tremendous showing and Jordynne looked great as well.

Results: Jacy Jayne by Pinfall via Rolling Encore

Coby Galenzoski WR Star Rating – 4.50 Stars

MUST WATCH Roxanne and Raquel Vs Charlotte and Alexa Bliss Vs Kabuki Warriors Vs ZaRuca – Women’s Tag Team Championship:

Fundamentals: 0.75

Atmosphere: 1

Storytelling: 1

Psychology: 1

Innovation: 0.75

Wow, did the crowd ever cheer for Charlotte Flair. A sentence that I am shocked to say not too far removed from the odd rivalry with Tiffany. This is overall a very well done match. Its formatted nicely. Everyone got their moments to shine. A slow build to have singles opportunities with the rules being only two legal superstars. Zaria overpowering Alexa is a fun visual. Raquel and Roxanne are the first to greet Charlotte as Charlotte got the nicely built hot tag. Fun sequences including Charlotte taking a Sol Snatcher. Sol and Zaria attempt to hit the back stabber and spear combo but similar to their last tag match on NXT, Charlotte saves Alexa and Zaria spears Ruca. Raquel would pick up the pieces and get the win by pinning Sol Ruca. Well done match as a whole with a satisfying result.

Results: Raquel Rodriguez by Pinfall via Tejana Bomb on Sol Ruca

Coby Galenzoski WR Star Rating – 4.50 Stars

AMAZING Tiffany Stratton Vs Trish Stratus – WWE Women’s Championship:

Fundamentals: 0.75

Atmosphere: 1

Storytelling: 0.75

Psychology: 0.75

Innovation: 0.75

This is a fun match. Tiffany and Trish get some fun counters for each other’s spots. Knees up for the PME, pushing Trish off for the Stratusfaction. Tiffany’s alabama slam was countered into a rana. The crowd is there for both women. As a whole this is just a fine match, when the bar is very high from the majority of the matches, it does naturally feel weaker. Nothing wrong with this match at all but nothing truly over the top tremendous about it. Tiffany celebrated saying she is a forever champ and Trish had a standing ovation.

Results: Tiffany Stratton by Pinfall via PME.

Coby Galenzoski WR Star Rating – 4.00 Stars

AMAZING Naomi Vs Jade Cargill – No Holds Barred, Bianca Belair Special Guest Ref:

Fundamentals: 0.75

Atmosphere: 1

Storytelling: 0.75

Psychology: 0.75

Innovation: 1

The crowd is super against Naomi, Jade has the crowd behind her as well. This match takes the hatred displayed with a good amount of stuff. Naomi dropkicking Jade into the monitor of the barricade provided a great visual and a way to have Bianca start to have compassion. Aside from winning MITB, this is the most threatening Naomi has looked. Jade overcomes the damage and puts Naomi through a table with a Jaded off the top rope. Bianca and Jade exchange looks while the hand was being raised.

Results: Jade Cargill by Pinfall via Super Jaded Through A Table

GREAT Women’s Battle Royal For Championship Match In Paris:

Fundamentals: 0.75

Atmosphere: 1

Storytelling: 0.75

Psychology: 0.50

Innovation: 0.75

Honestly this was the weakest of the show, feeling odd that some NXT names like Izzi Dame and Tatum Paxley were thrown out within seconds of the start. Kelani gets the Kofi spot to save herself from the Rumble. Nia gets a strong showing but also is eliminated by Lash Legend and Stephanie Vaquer. Nikki Bella gets fun moments with Chelsea Green and does the bella twirl with Lola Vice. Lash had a strong showing being in her hometown and as always the devils kiss makes the crowd go AHH. A devils kiss on the apron is what gives Vaquer the victory. Solid reactions for a lot of the talent with everyone getting their own entrance.

Results: Stephanie Vaquer by Last Woman Standing via Last Eliminating Lash Legend

PERFECT Iyo Sky Vs Rhea Ripley – World Women’s Championship: WWE Evolution 2025 Main Event

Bar none, this is the bar for any Premium Live Event’s main event now. This is a historic match for Iyo Sky and Rhea Ripley going longer than any two women for a normal singles match on a PLE. They go the distance and this is 26 minutes of high quality wrestling. The crowd firmly and boldly chanted for women’s wrestling throughout the match. Only Iyo Sky is gonna be able to get a crowd split between her and Rhea Ripley. A ref bump causes them to go out into the crowd, using some of the stands and also doing a big moonsault off of some equipment boxes. A brilliant nearfall from a moonsault makes Iyo start to doubt. Could Rhea Ripley have what it takes to defeat her for the first time?

After a top rope spanish fly, Naomi would run down and cash in. She throws Rhea into the post before hitting a split legged moonsault for the win. What an ending to a perfect classic of a match.

Results: Naomi by Pinfall via Split Legged Moonsault on Iyo

WWE Evolution 2025 Overall…

WWE Evolution 2025 is without a doubt the best Premium Live Event of the year for WWE. From start to finish this was amazing wrestling in every single match. A women’s division that had to prove themselves and to make this event a success. In every facet possible this was. Classic triple threat to open the show. A statistically historic main event that proved that Iyo Sky and Rhea Ripley are wrestling soulmates. Naomi cashing in provides a shocking result to the main event along with giving us something to look forward to. Blake Monroe turned on Jordynne Grace. Roxanne and Raquel proved they deserved to keep the tag titles. Tiffany Stratton defeats one of the GOATs. Jade continues to build momentum for Summerslam and much more. Start to finish this was a perfect event. And If you need a reason to believe that this Event was perfect, watch the start of the first match, that crowd delivered everything they needed too for this event.

GREAT Randy Orton with Jelly Roll Vs Drew McIntyre with Logan Paul: WWE Saturday Night’s Main Event July 12 2025 Opening Match

This is a fun match with a very hot crowd to start the night off. We have issues brewing between all men, including Jelly Roll stopping Logan from distract Randy in the match. Drew is distracted allowing Randy to win with an RKO. Its a fine match and well worked with two guys who have great chemistry. A hot crowd also gives it a boost as both men are so over and Logan is hated while Jelly got fun reactions for his moments.

After the match Logan attacks Randy, Jelly aids Randy by sending Logan out of the ring but Drew Claymores Jelly screaming that he was a target now that he stepped into the ring.

Results: Randy Orton by Pinfall via RKO

AMAZING Solo Sikoa Vs Jimmy Uso – US Championship:

This was a very solid match. The crowd was hating Solo and was firmly behind Big Jim Uso. Jimmy Uso gets a nicely done run of offense including his whisper of the wind onto Solo and his group. There was a nicely done German Suplex on the apron. A result that makes sense, Tala Tonga aids Solo by aiding Sikoa with leverage for the roll up.

After the match Jacob Fatu would make the save as Solo and his group were attacking Jimmy. Sending Tala over the top rope and standing tall in the ring with Jimmy.

Results: Solo Sikoa By Pinfall via Roll Up

Coby Galenzoski WR Star Rating – 4.00 Stars

INJURY LA Knight Vs Seth Rollins:

About half way through the match Seth Rollins had one or two awkward landings after a springboard swanton and springboard moonsault. Knight had rolled out of the way of the second one. The ref had to bring Doctors to Seth and once Seth was able to stand up Knight hit a BFT. A confirmed injury and audible was called in this match. Knight could be seen unsatisfied with the win after cursing as he left the ring quickly.

Results: LA Knight by Pinfall via BFT

AMAZING Gunther Vs Goldberg – World Heavyweight Championship: WWE Saturday Night’s Main Event July 12 2025 Main Event

Honestly expectations were blown. They were in a weird spot with how Seth got hurt and the show had to be altered. Gunther brought Goldberg to the distance, a slower paced match with a couple spears. Including one to a Ref. Goldberg speared the barricade as Gunther moved out of the way. The crowd is on the edge of their seats supporting GOLDDDBERG. The nearfall was well done from the Jackhammer.

Gunther was able to work on the bad leg of Goldberg, including going so far to remove the knee brace he was wearing. Goldberg deserves credit after the Jackhammer selling that he couldn’t make the pin right away. Soon after Gunther gets a sleeper for the win, making the legend pass out.

Results: Gunther by Submission via Sleeper Hold

WWE Saturday Night’s Main Event July 12 2025 Overall…

WWE Saturday Night’s Main Event July 12 2025 is an enjoyable TV special. With solid wrestling that doesn’t feel rushed or crammed in to fit too much. As a four match TV Special is how the SNME’s are better in the current iteration. All matches were fun and enjoyable but Seth’s unfortunate injury put the show in a bad spot, having to fill a good chunk of time of the special. Outside of this odd part of the show, the pacing of this event is still very respectable with the forum they have on NBC.

This show had an angle to announce Bianca Belair as the special guest Referee for Naomi Vs Jade No Holds Barred. They set up the Summerslam tag team contest that involves Jelly Roll after he got claymored by Drew. Drew claiming he is a target now that he stepped into their ring. Jacob Fatu isnt finished with Solo Sikoa and saved Jimmy from a beat down. Gunther was able to put away Goldberg while Goldberg got to end his career with his family and friends surrounding him.

MUST WATCH Cody Rhodes Vs Randy Orton – KOTR Finals: WWE Night Of Champions 2025 Opening Match

Fundamentals: 1

Atmosphere: 1

Storytelling: 0.75

Psychology: 1

Innovation: 0.75

As a whole this is a very well done match from bell to bell. Revolving around Randy’s early high risk that put him at a disadvantage. Hurting his lower back on a superplex that affected the rest of the match. Cody Rhodes also did not hesitating on targeting his back, including a stretch on the corner post. Randy does very much excel in selling the lower back and does so in plenty of his modern matches since returning from injury.

After a handful of solid kick outs from Randy, including a couple Cody cutters, Randy starts to get his own offense. A catching RKO and an out of nowhere one. Orton ended up hesitating on the Punt kick so Cody was able to counter it. He would use a steel chair to divert the ref’s attention so he could get an exposed turnbuckle. After an exchange, Cody pushed Randy into it hurting the ribs before getting a Cross Rhodes for the win.

Very fun and enjoyable match that does leave room for a different style of match in the future that does go a little further.

Results: Cody Rhodes by Pinfall via Cross Rhodes

AMAZING Raquel Rodriguez Vs Rhea Ripley – Riyadh Boulevard Street Fight: WWE Night Of Champions 2025 Sleeper Match Of The Night

Fundamentals: 0.75

Atmosphere: 1

Storytelling: 0.75

Psychology: 1

Innovation: 1

This was a match that exceeded probably a lot of expectations. Rhea and Raquel have never really captured their NXT magic on the Main Roster. This was something that absolutely matched it. With the intensity of the kendo stick shots from Raquel to Rhea, Rhea using her studded belt to whip Raquel as well. This was a hard hitting fight with two powerhouses and they laid their shots in. Roxanne Perez attempted to aid her Judgment Day associate, but Rhea took her out with ease. Rhea hits a very cool Super Riptide off of a table that was bridged over the top rope.

Results: Rhea Ripley by Pinfall via Super Riptide

GREAT Karrion Kross Vs Sami Zayn:

Fundamentals: 0.75

Atmosphere: 1

Storytelling: 0.75

Psychology: 0.75

Innovation: 0.50

There is easily a Kross took some bumps joke in here with the rumors surrounding him from this week.  This is a solid match, even better on the second watch. We have the power of Kross on display with his Doomsday Saito suplexes and a nice Death Valley Driver. Several moments of Kross saying that he was right, Sami doesn’t have it as he is saying it to Sami’s face. The crowd was firmly supporting Sami Zayn while Kross got his heat during the match itself. Zayn would continue with a helluva kick for the win after a solid match.

Results: Sami Zayn by Pinfall via Helluva Kick

Coby Galenzoski WR Star Rating – 3.75 Stars

GREAT Jacob Fatu Vs Solo Sikoa – United States Championship:

Fundamentals: 0.75

Atmosphere: 0.75

Storytelling: 1

Psychology: 0.75

Innovation: 0.50

Solo Sikoa proves intellectual superiority as he had a plan. The return of Tonga Loa, the debut of Tala Tonga (Hikuleo). This is another fun match that does have a good structure. The hard hitting and explosive nature of Jacob Fatu while Solo Sikoa slows it down, makes it methodical. The crowd was booing Solo and cheering for Jacob. Jacob gets a run while JC Mateo and Tonga Loa were the ones who interfered first. Tala Tonga was the difference maker that helped Solo get the win with a Samoan Spike that was sold beautifully from Fatu.

Results: Solo Sikoa by Pinfall via Samoan Spike

Coby Galenzoski WR Star Rating – 3.75 Stars

ABOVE AVERAGE Asuka Vs Jade Cargill – QOTR Finals :

Fundamentals: 0.50

Atmosphere: 0.50

Storytelling: 0.50

Psychology: 0.50

Innovation: 0.75

The biggest strength of this match were the counters. We saw a couple of Empress Impact counters, including in the finish where she countered it into the Jaded. The counters and sequences were probably the only part of this match that just didn’t feel underwhelming. Asuka was beloved in Saudi and Asuka’s offense looked really good. Jade wasn’t great in this match. The crowd was not resonating with her either. This as a whole was the weakest match of the night, that felt like it never went into second gear. Underwhelming and just a mid showing from Jade overall.

Results: Jade Cargill by Pinfall via Jaded

Coby Galenzoski WR Star Rating – 2.75 Stars

PERFECT John Cena Vs CM Punk – WWE Championship: WWE Night Of Champions 2025 Main Event

A love letter to the John Cena and CM Punk rivalry of the past. This plays the hits, with spots that were done before in their past matches that made sense. The kick to counter the five knuckle shuffle, Countering Punk’s neckbreaker with an AA. This is very much a well wrestled with a crowd that was off the charts electric. With the crowd attached to every nearfall from the GTS’ and the AA’s.

A shoulder block took out the main ref and Punk was screwed after hitting a GTS. Seth Rollins appeared with Bron and Bronson. After targeting CM Punk, Cena stood up to Seth saying this was his business. Seth gets hit with an AA and then the dogs go after Cena. Penta and Sami Zayn end up taking out Bron Breakker by the stage and Punk stops Bronson from hitting a tsunami on John. Seeing John get Bronson up for an AA was magical once again. After taking out Reed, Punk and Cena shake hands before John tried to low blow him like he did to Cody at EC. Punk blocked by Seth used the briefcase to stop a GTS. He stomped Punk and Cena got rid of Seth and got the win from the stomp.

Results: John Cena by Pinfall via Seth Rollins’ Stomp

Coby Galenzoski WR Star Rating – 5.00 Stars

WWE Night Of Champions 2025 Overall…

WWE Night Of Champions 2025 brings a solid night of wrestling. With really only one major blemish on the card with that being the Queen Of The Ring finals. The rest of the show was very well done. A high quality opener, an expectation exceeding Street Fight and once again rolling back the time with John Cena getting one more CM Punk main event that is the best Cena match of the year so far. Sami Zayn overcomes Karrion Kross, Solo Sikoa’s family grows with Tala Tonga and the return of Tonga Loa. Cody Rhodes sets his sight on John Cena and Seth Rollins/CM Punk just got an adrenaline boost for the Road to Summerslam.

AMAZING Women’s MITB Ladder Match: WWE Money In The Bank 2025 Opening Match

Fundamentals: 0.75

Atmosphere: 0.75

Storytelling: 0.75

Psychology: 1

Innovation: 0.75

With the pure talent in this match it is overall odd to say the way this match played out was weak. There are many timing issues, moments of spots taking too long to set up like the double code red on the bridged ladders. Several dead moments from a crowd that was still filling the Arena during this match. There is just a lack of fluidity and the structure of the match is poor.

Alexa Bliss had great moments like her double senton, and her nasty stomach first bump on a ladder. Roxanne Perez gets a few great counters, getting a springboard moonsault onto Rhea on a ladder. The dynamic previously built with Giulia and Roxanne Perez was revisited and Perez turned on her fully. There are a couple of Rhea and Alexa teases that had the crowd pop. And the main highlight was the Devil’s kiss on a bridged ladder. Especially after last years match, this just didn’t feel like it went the way it could’ve. Its a solid ladder match but there are far better Women’s MITB and multi person ladder matches regardless.

Results: Naomi by Briefcase Retrieval

Coby Galenzoski WR Star Rating – 4.00 Stars

SQUASH Dominik Mysterio Vs Octagon Jr. – WWE Intercontinental Championship:

This was fun to see, with the set up from Worlds Collide. Octagon got to have some moments while the crowd were chanting for Dirty Dom. Liv Morgan is the difference maker and Dom gets a frog splash. Seconds away from being eligible for a rating with our five minute match length requirement.

Results: Dominik Mysterio by Pinfall via Frog Splash

MUST WATCH Lyra Valkyria Vs Becky Lynch – WWE Women’s Intercontinental Championship:

Fundamentals: 1

Atmosphere: 1

Storytelling: 1

Psychology: 1

Innovation: 0.75

Business picked up with two of the best women’s wrestlers on the roster. This is when MITB got excited. A very high quality match with tremendous work and sequences with Becky and Lyra. A hot crowd attached to each nearfall, whether it was the super manhandle slam or a nightwing kickout. They have some high spots on the outside of the ring, in the middle of the match before a Manhandle and a Nightwing are traded to create a nine count. Both getting back in the ring, Becky escapes the match with a tights assisted roll up to get her win.

Becky overdoes the post match hand raising and gets hit with a german suplex and a nightwing with Lyra being ticked off.

Results: Becky Lynch by Pinfall via Tights Assisted Roll Up

Coby Galenzoski WR Star Rating – 4.75 Stars

PERFECT Men’s MITB Ladder Match:

Off the charts amazing action. Engaging moments with Andrade and Penta getting several moments together. Seth and LA Knight kinda brawling as the two favourites. Solo Sikoa being the comedic relief, even doing the Penta walk to taunt him. El Grande American does an incredible ladder match from the outside corner to the ladder in the middle of the ring. Seth would signal for Bron and Bronson to make their way out. JC Mateo and Jacob Fatu end up evening the odds and this is exciting. Solo is set up to climb the ladder but once he reached the briefcase, Jacob grabbed his foot. Yelling he hates Solo. Jacob takes out Solo with a spinning solo through a bridged ladder. LA Knight attempts to make the save but Seth ultimately wins the MITB in an amazing match that didn’t lack the ability to get engaged with it.

Results: Seth Rollins by Briefcase Retrieval

MUST WATCH John Cena and Logan Paul Vs Jey Uso and Cody Rhodes: WWE Money In The Bank 2025 Main Event

Fundamentals: 0.75

Atmosphere: 1

Storytelling: 1

Psychology: 1

Innovation: 0.75

As the whole this is another match carried by the atmosphere. John Cena needs a hot crowd to help you get lost in it. Cody and Jey are the babyfaces and Logan makes it harder to cheer for Cena. Its generally a well formatted match that has the heels work on Jey. Issues between Cena and Paul almost break down causing Cody to get the hot tag. Cody goes on a hot tag and gets a Cody Cutter on Cena. Things spill to the outside and Cena sets up an announce table AA. Cody gets off of his shoulders and Jey spears him. Logan hits a gorgeous lionsault onto the announce table from the apron. Cena goes to use the belt and hits Cody but a masked figure attacks him. R Truth is back! Truth attacked Cena and Cody is able to get a Cross Rhodes for the win.

What a moment for Truth when We Want Truth was happening as a chant during the match.

Results: Cody Rhodes by Pinfall via Cross Rhodes on John Cena

Coby Galenzoski WR Star Rating – 4.50 Stars

WWE Money In The Bank 2025 Overall…

WWE Money In The Bank 2025 brings a night filled with engaging moments. Becky Lynch making history as the New Women’s Intercontinental Champion. Dominik Mysterio gets another PPV title defense in a squash match. Naomi wins the MITB in her fifth attempt giving a great moment for a trailblazer for the division. Jacob Fatu turns on Solo Sikoa. Seth Rollins becomes a dangerous man with the MITB. John Cena and Logan Paul have tension that might lead to a match with them. R Truth returns and gets a massive reaction. Cody Rhodes pins John Cena in his first match since Wrestlemania.

The biggest issue is just how the smaller first half of the show is relatively slow and uneventful. The Women’s MITB is a fine match but thats about it. Dominik having a squash match just to add a fifth match is an odd decision also. The Women’s IC, the mens MITB and the main event are all very well done matches and a worthy your while. A rough first match causes the show to have an imperfect structure.
