WWE Money In The Bank 2025 brings a night filled with engaging moments. Becky Lynch making history as the New Women's Intercontinental Champion. Dominik Mysterio gets another PPV title defense in a squash match. Naomi wins the MITB in her fifth attempt giving a great moment for a trailblazer for the division. Jacob Fatu turns on Solo Sikoa. Seth Rollins becomes a dangerous man with the MITB. John Cena and Logan Paul have tension that might lead to a match with them. R Truth returns and gets a massive reaction. Cody Rhodes pins John Cena in his first match since Wrestlemania.
The biggest issue is just how the smaller first half of the show is relatively slow and uneventful. The Women's MITB is a fine match but thats about it. Dominik having a squash match just to add a fifth match is an odd decision also. The Women's IC, the mens MITB and the main event are all very well done matches and a worthy your while. A rough first match causes the show to have an imperfect structure.
WWE Money In The Bank 2025 brings the return of the yearly tradition. With past winners like Alexa Bliss and Seth Rollins looking to win again. First time MITB participants, Penta, Giulia, Rhea Ripley, Roxanne Perez and Stephanie Vaquer. And past competitors try to get the victory this year in LA Knight, Andrade, Naomi and more. Becky Lynch and Lyra Valkyria up the stakes between the two of them with Becky having one final shot, and if Becky wins Lyra has to raise Becky’s hand. John Cena wants to ruin Wrestling and this times its alongside Logan Paul. They face Cody Rhodes and Jey Uso.

With the pure talent in this match it is overall odd to say the way this match played out was weak. There are many timing issues, moments of spots taking too long to set up like the double code red on the bridged ladders. Several dead moments from a crowd that was still filling the Arena during this match. There is just a lack of fluidity and the structure of the match is poor.
Alexa Bliss had great moments like her double senton, and her nasty stomach first bump on a ladder. Roxanne Perez gets a few great counters, getting a springboard moonsault onto Rhea on a ladder. The dynamic previously built with Giulia and Roxanne Perez was revisited and Perez turned on her fully. There are a couple of Rhea and Alexa teases that had the crowd pop. And the main highlight was the Devil’s kiss on a bridged ladder. Especially after last years match, this just didn’t feel like it went the way it could’ve. Its a solid ladder match but there are far better Women’s MITB and multi person ladder matches regardless.

SQUASH Dominik Mysterio Vs Octagon Jr. – WWE Intercontinental Championship:
This was fun to see, with the set up from Worlds Collide. Octagon got to have some moments while the crowd were chanting for Dirty Dom. Liv Morgan is the difference maker and Dom gets a frog splash. Seconds away from being eligible for a rating with our five minute match length requirement.

Business picked up with two of the best women’s wrestlers on the roster. This is when MITB got excited. A very high quality match with tremendous work and sequences with Becky and Lyra. A hot crowd attached to each nearfall, whether it was the super manhandle slam or a nightwing kickout. They have some high spots on the outside of the ring, in the middle of the match before a Manhandle and a Nightwing are traded to create a nine count. Both getting back in the ring, Becky escapes the match with a tights assisted roll up to get her win.
Becky overdoes the post match hand raising and gets hit with a german suplex and a nightwing with Lyra being ticked off.

PERFECT Men’s MITB Ladder Match:
Off the charts amazing action. Engaging moments with Andrade and Penta getting several moments together. Seth and LA Knight kinda brawling as the two favourites. Solo Sikoa being the comedic relief, even doing the Penta walk to taunt him. El Grande American does an incredible ladder match from the outside corner to the ladder in the middle of the ring. Seth would signal for Bron and Bronson to make their way out. JC Mateo and Jacob Fatu end up evening the odds and this is exciting. Solo is set up to climb the ladder but once he reached the briefcase, Jacob grabbed his foot. Yelling he hates Solo. Jacob takes out Solo with a spinning solo through a bridged ladder. LA Knight attempts to make the save but Seth ultimately wins the MITB in an amazing match that didn’t lack the ability to get engaged with it.

As the whole this is another match carried by the atmosphere. John Cena needs a hot crowd to help you get lost in it. Cody and Jey are the babyfaces and Logan makes it harder to cheer for Cena. Its generally a well formatted match that has the heels work on Jey. Issues between Cena and Paul almost break down causing Cody to get the hot tag. Cody goes on a hot tag and gets a Cody Cutter on Cena. Things spill to the outside and Cena sets up an announce table AA. Cody gets off of his shoulders and Jey spears him. Logan hits a gorgeous lionsault onto the announce table from the apron. Cena goes to use the belt and hits Cody but a masked figure attacks him. R Truth is back! Truth attacked Cena and Cody is able to get a Cross Rhodes for the win.
What a moment for Truth when We Want Truth was happening as a chant during the match.
Results: Cody Rhodes by Pinfall via Cross Rhodes on John Cena
