WWE Saturday Night’s Main Event July 12 2025 is an enjoyable TV special. With solid wrestling that doesn’t feel rushed or crammed in to fit too much. As a four match TV Special is how the SNME’s are better in the current iteration. All matches were fun and enjoyable but Seth’s unfortunate injury put the show in a bad spot, having to fill a good chunk of time of the special. Outside of this odd part of the show, the pacing of this event is still very respectable with the forum they have on NBC.

GREAT Randy Orton with Jelly Roll Vs Drew McIntyre with Logan Paul: WWE Saturday Night’s Main Event July 12 2025 Opening Match
This is a fun match with a very hot crowd to start the night off. We have issues brewing between all men, including Jelly Roll stopping Logan from distract Randy in the match. Drew is distracted allowing Randy to win with an RKO. Its a fine match and well worked with two guys who have great chemistry. A hot crowd also gives it a boost as both men are so over and Logan is hated while Jelly got fun reactions for his moments.
After the match Logan attacks Randy, Jelly aids Randy by sending Logan out of the ring but Drew Claymores Jelly screaming that he was a target now that he stepped into the ring.
Results: Randy Orton by Pinfall via RKO

AMAZING Solo Sikoa Vs Jimmy Uso – US Championship:
This was a very solid match. The crowd was hating Solo and was firmly behind Big Jim Uso. Jimmy Uso gets a nicely done run of offense including his whisper of the wind onto Solo and his group. There was a nicely done German Suplex on the apron. A result that makes sense, Tala Tonga aids Solo by aiding Sikoa with leverage for the roll up.
After the match Jacob Fatu would make the save as Solo and his group were attacking Jimmy. Sending Tala over the top rope and standing tall in the ring with Jimmy.
Results: Solo Sikoa By Pinfall via Roll Up

INJURY LA Knight Vs Seth Rollins:
About half way through the match Seth Rollins had one or two awkward landings after a springboard swanton and springboard moonsault. Knight had rolled out of the way of the second one. The ref had to bring Doctors to Seth and once Seth was able to stand up Knight hit a BFT. A confirmed injury and audible was called in this match. Knight could be seen unsatisfied with the win after cursing as he left the ring quickly.
Results: LA Knight by Pinfall via BFT

AMAZING Gunther Vs Goldberg – World Heavyweight Championship: WWE Saturday Night’s Main Event July 12 2025 Main Event
Honestly expectations were blown. They were in a weird spot with how Seth got hurt and the show had to be altered. Gunther brought Goldberg to the distance, a slower paced match with a couple spears. Including one to a Ref. Goldberg speared the barricade as Gunther moved out of the way. The crowd is on the edge of their seats supporting GOLDDDBERG. The nearfall was well done from the Jackhammer.
Gunther was able to work on the bad leg of Goldberg, including going so far to remove the knee brace he was wearing. Goldberg deserves credit after the Jackhammer selling that he couldn’t make the pin right away. Soon after Gunther gets a sleeper for the win, making the legend pass out.
Results: Gunther by Submission via Sleeper Hold
