2. Tessa Blanchard Training With Top AEW Star
There is arguably no bigger female free agent right now than Tessa Blanchard, who in 2019 became the first ever female Impact World Champion. However controversies surrounding her personal life have led many companies to retract their interest in her since she was released from Impact Wrestling in 2020.
SEScoops reported last month that Tessa, along with her husband Daga, were close to signing with All Elite Wrestling, however many sources instantly denied this report.
PWInsider went on to claim that AEW have never showed any interest in signing Tessa, and no creative plans have ever been discussed for her, despite her father being with the company.
However, not it seems like this rumor could indeed have some truth to it.
Top AEW star Dustin Rhodes tweeted out a photo of Tessa Blanchard training at the Nightmare Factory earlier this week.
While the Nightmare Factory isn’t owned or ran by AEW, the two are heavily involved with each other, with the majority of trainees going on to work in AEW, mostly on AEW Dark. Most recently multiple Nightmare Factory trainees have been involved in the storyline between Cody Rhodes and QT Marshal.
