Billy Corgan and the NWA are traveling to Mexico once more with the Smashing Pumpkins.The Smashing Pumpkins revealed their March 4 homecoming to Mexico. The advertised contest pits NWA vs. AAA. The National Wrestling Alliance is owned by Corgan, the vocalist of the Smashing Pumpkins. The Smashing Pumpkins’ 1995 song “Bullets with Butterfly Wings” from Mellon Collie and the Infinite Sadness is the inspiration for the festival’s name. The wrestler reveals one of the factors that lead him to leave NWA. Earlier today it was known that Nick Aldis asked publicly for his release from NWA. After that NWA gave a statement suspending Aldis and pulling him off from the upcoming PPV. Nick Aldis has been suspended by the NWA and pulled from their upcoming PPV.  The relationship between Aldis and NWA is not on good terms. Everything started after Aldis announced that he was giving notice to the National Wrestling Alliance. In response, the promotion announced that he is suspended. NWA COO, Joe Calli, confirmed that Aldis is under contract through December 31 and he added that this is not a wrestling storyline. He will become a free agent on January 1st.
