3. Ricochet Makes Controversial Tweet About Io Shirai
Earlier this week Ricochet took to Twitter to claim that popular NXT womens competitor, Io Shirai, could not even do ‘half’ of what he is capable of.
He tweeted “I’m not saying she’s not amazing. She 100% is. But I can do EVERYTHING she can, probably even better. She can’t do what I am capable of, maybe not even half.”
In the next few hours Ricochet received hundreds of hate Tweets with one fan saying ‘Ricochet should focus on being better than his male colleagues first before comparing himself to Io Shirai because that woman has more charisma in her pinky than he does in his whole body and she doesn’t even do half the moves she knows how to do but I digress’

In terms of skill and ability, there's plenty Io can do that Ricochet can't – including social distancing, mask wearing, and avoiding being associated with a convicted pedophile who may be involved in the disappearance of a woman.

Ricochet went on to eventually delete the tweet, however it is unclear if it was his own decision, or he was told by WWE to remove it.
