4. Celebrity Returning To In Ring Action In AEW This Summer
The NBA Legend and Hall Of Famer, Shaquille O’Neil, has announced that he will be making his return to the ring this summer in All Elite Wrestling.
Shaq was last seen on AEW Television when he teamed with Jade Cargill to take on Cody Rhodes and Red Velvet on Dynamite this last March. After the match Shaq was taken into an ambulance, but when Tony Shiovane entered the ambulance to check the status of the NBA Legend, he had disappeared.
Earlier this week on an edition of NBA on TNT, Shaq was asked when he would be returning to the squared circle, to which he replied “Soon, This Summer”
This likely tells us that AEW are waiting for crowds to return in July before Shaq returns to the product, possibly to renew his feud with Cody after their last tag encounter.
Shaq did not give anymore details about when in the summer he would be making his return, but when it does happen it’ll certainly create headlines across mainstream media.
