As seen recently on social media, Tony Khan has announced the official theme song and commentary team for the brand-new AEW Collision show.
Earlier this year, AEW’s official broadcasting channel TNT decided they wanted to expand their pro wrestling lineup to offer more content. And, to accomplish that, they decided to create a brand-new show named ‘AEW Collision’ that would air every Saturday night starting June 17th.
Even though this announcement got mixed reactions from the fans, AEW President Tony Khan made some interesting week-to-week announcements to get the pro wrestling world more hyped for this brand-new AEW show.
Now, some weeks after announcing the presence of former AEW World Champion CM Punk and the official main event for the inaugural show, Tony Khan has made another interesting announcement regarding AEW Collision.
Through a series of recent posts on his official Twitter account, the AEW President & GM finally revealed the official commentary team and theme song of AEW Collision. About this, Khan announced that former WWE commentator Nigel McGuinness and current NJPW english commentator Kevin Kelly will join the legendary Jim Ross in the announce table to form a new commentary team.
Additionally, he also revealed that AEW Collision’s official theme song will be ‘Saturday Night’s Alright For Fighting’, which is performed by the legendary British musician Elton John.
The inaugural AEW Collision event will take place tomorrow night from the United Center in Chicago, Illinois. The event will be headlined by a Trios Match featuring CM Punk & FTR vs. Samoa Joe, Jay White & Juice Robinson.
