Recently in an interview with Busted Open Radio, Thunder Rosa was asked about the free agents that have been released from WWE and if there was anyone in that group that she would like to face in AEW. She said, “Ember Moon. I have not had the opportunity to work with her. She’s one of the Dallas veterans, I mean Texas veterans. She worked for so long in NXT and I don’t think they gave her the platform she deserved. Because she’s so good and so underrated. So, hopefully, I get the opportunity to work with her. It would be a banger.”
Ember Moon was one of many superstars released earlier this month on November 6 after not wearing since October 5th against Mandy Rose on NXT 2.0. She was released after 6 years with WWE.

Both women are very vocal, proud Texans. There’s no doubt that they would get along and share an incredible match together. Although it would likely not compare to the Lights Out match from Thunder Rosa and Britt Baker, it would still be an incredible match filled with passion performed by two extremely talented women.
Thunder Rosa has had an incredible run transitioning from NWA into AEW. She also spoke on the support that Tony Khan gave her and how much he believes in her as well as her incredible Lights Out match with AEW Women’s Champion Britt Baker. Last night on Dynamite, Thunder Rosa defeated Jamie Hayter and will now move forward to the semi-finals against Jade Cargill in the TBS tournament.
