The Usos are undoubtedly one of the best teams in WWE history. What they’ve achieved in the modern era has been simply marvellous, truly cementing their legacy. Naturally, upon pondering what their greatest matches are, I have put together a top 10 list on that topic.

The only rule of the list is that it has to be a match in which it’s just the Usos tagging together. So no six-man tags or Jey singles matches, sadly.

10. Crown Jewel 2022: The Usos vs. The Brawling Brutes

Very enjoyable, energetic tag match. While it may not touch any of the other matches on this list, there’s a certain enjoyment that I get from watching energetic, fast-paced tag action. While Ridge Holland may get his critiques in the ring, he was actually really enjoyable in this match, with his hot tags being a highlight throughout. The Brutes showed some great tenacity here, as they were vengeful of the Usos due to taking out Sheamus weeks prior (which was somewhat of a focal point in the match). Some other highlights were Butch catching Jimmy’s splash into an arm triangle and the finish of the match ending in a top rope 1-D.

Fans will remember that popular WWE superstar Bray Wyatt (AKA The Feind) was shockingly released last year in a massive string of firings. They were left stunned and outraged over the company’s decision as they felt the star had been mishandled for a long time.

Wyatt was the victim of poor booking choices, often losing matches despite his popularity. Many thought this would change when he became The Fiend, and it did until WWE began mishandling his character.

Wyatt’s release allegedly stemmed from being difficult to work with and the decision was made as part of “Budget Cuts.” He has yet to return to wrestling for any promotion, although some recent tweets have gotten fans hopes up.

As part of his release, it’s been reported that WWE asked for The Fiend to be removed from 2K22 ahead of its release. The game was released three months ago and was well received by gamers and critics.

Sean Sapp reported for Fightful that WWE made the request, and Mike Straw of SGO also made a similar claim earlier this year. The reasoning behind this is not known, but it’s apparent that Bray and WWE did not part on good terms.

Fans can argue that Vince McMahon never saw Bray as a top guy, despite his being a best seller of merchandise. We may never know what happened between the two parties unless Bray decides to speak on the issue.

Fans have also been speculating that Bray may return to WWE soon. Some thought he would appear at Hell in a Cell earlier this month, but that never happened.

WWE was forced to move Money in the Bank from Allegiant Stadium to MGM Grand Arena two weeks ago. This was reportedly done because ticket sales were too low, and they feared they would not sell out in time.

This appears to have been the best decision they could have made as they are now nearing a full house. The smaller venue can house around 17,000 spectators while Allegiant Stadium can hold a WrestleMania sized 65,000.

Money in the Bank now sits at 98% of seats sold as of this past Saturday, according to WrestleTix. The event was supposed to be one of three stadium shows, the others being Clash at the Castle and SummerSlam.

Participants for the men’s and women’s ladder matches will be determined soon, but one other match has also been set. Rhea Ripley will challenge Bianca Belair for the Raw Women’s Championship, having won a number one contenders match this past Monday.

Another rumored match has been Riddle and Shinsuke Nakamura vs. The Usos for the unified tag team championships. This bout may not happen, however, as Riddle challenged Roman Reigns for the Undisputed WWE Universal Championship on Raw.

The latter match will likely be the one to take place as WWE wouldn’t tease it and not follow through. They may have no choice as there are no marquee stars at Hell in the Cell.

Given that Money in the Bank is supposed to be a bigger show, it’ll likely need more star power.

Liv Morgan has been a significant feature within the Raw women’s division in the past few months. She had a match for the Women’s Tag Team Championships at WrestleMania with Rhea Ripley as her partner.

Their union would dissolve soon after, but Liv has since stayed in the spotlight through feuding with Judgement Day. The Hell in a Cell premium live event saw her team with Finn Balor and AJ Styles against the heels.

Unfortunately, Judgement Day would seize victory, potentially putting an end to the rivalry between the two groups, especially given Monday’s events. Although Liv has been one of the more prominently featured women, one legend doesn’t care much for her work.

Jim Cornette compared Liv to Rhea Ripley on the latest episode of Jim Cornette Experience and praised Rhea’s skills. He doesn’t like Morgan and feels Rhea has carried her through the bulk of their matches together.

“They’ve been fighting every week. Liv Morgan does not grow on me. She’s too girly to be a wrestler. Rhea Ripley has to, not only bend over backward, but has to do the limbo to make it believable that Liv Morgan is hanging in there with her, right?” Cornette said.

“When Rhea and Liv got in there, again, Ripley is everything I like about women’s wrestling and Morgan is the opposite. She’s too small, her sh*t it’s awkward, she’s trying to do sh*t to bigger people and they’re trying to let her, it doesn’t come across. I don’t… she’s too pretty… I just don’t see it,” he stated. It’s unfortunate Cornette thinks so negatively about Liv, but not surprising as he’s often critical regarding WWE’s current product. While he may not like Morgan’s work, fans have been strongly behind her for a long time now.

This is why WWE has pushed Liv the way they have this year, starting with a title program against Becky Lynch. The two wrestled in some stellar matches as part of their feud, but Becky would always walk away as champion.

Even if Liv is done with Rhea and Judgement Day, WWE will likely keep her as a focal point. With Money in the Bank being the next big event, Liv will probably be in the women’s ladder match.

Given the work she’s put in, this could be her year as she would be a strong favorite to win.

It’s become a recurring habit in recent months for main roster stars to appear in NXT 2.0 to boost ratings. Stars like AJ Styles, The Miz, Natalya, and The Viking Raiders appeared on the show to wrestle younger stars.

Based on a cryptic tweet, Rhea Ripley could be the next star to arrive on the rainbow brand. This past Sunday, the newest Judgement Day member tweeted “Tuesday” with an hourglass emoji, implying an appearance on NXT.

Rhea recently joined Edges Judgement Day faction at WWE WrestleMania Backlash when she helped him beat AJ Styles. This came a few weeks after she turned on her Liv Morgan to dissolve their tag-team alliance.

If she is on her way to NXT, it’s likely in search of an opponent to destroy before Hell in a Cell. However, she could be looking to recruit for Judgement Day as Edge has been teasing a new member on Twitter.

It has been revealed that Harland was supposed to join the faction before he was released for lack of in-ring improvement. This may not have ruled out other candidates from the Tuesday show, and Rhea may meet them tonight.

Judgement Day will face AJ Styles, Finn Balor, and Liv Morgan in mixed tag action at Hell in a Cell. Given that In Your House and the premium live event are a day apart, Rhea may not appear at the former.

Whatever she may have planned in NXT, all eyes will be on her, if she does indeed appear tonight.

Windham Rotunda, formally known as Bray Wyatt/ The Fiend in WWE, posted an ominous tweet to social media. His message is open to interpretation, but fans are speculating that the star will be returning to action soon.

The tweet reads as follows, “Everything good that’s happened to me, first came a period of suffering. I never asked why, I just wait for the rough part to end. I was chosen for whatever reason. And I’ve got s**t to do. It doesn’t hurt anymore, it burns. I’m ready now.”

Fans will remember that Rotunda was released last year as part of another round of shocking releases deemed “budget cuts.” Bray Wyatt was a top star in the company for years and was a top merchandise seller at the time.

Some fans speculate that Rotunda may be returning to WWE based on the red circle at the end of the tweet. They’re guessing that it symbolizes his coming full circle in his journey and will return to the company where he started.

Nothing’s confirmed, but given the conjecture and his previously reported high asking price, there are two options for him. One possibility is that he returns at Hell in the Cell, the other is a debut on this week’s Dynamite.

There is also the possibility that he returns to the ring for a different promotion like Impact Wrestling or NJPW. His asking price may have been high to keep away offers while he rehabilitates or reinvents himself.

It could also be that his tweet was referencing a film he was rumored to be working on post-release. We’ll have to wait to see what he does next, but one sure thing is that fans will be behind him.
