Rhea Ripley could be primed to return to NXT 2.0 after posting a cryptic tweet.
It’s become a recurring habit in recent months for main roster stars to appear in NXT 2.0 to boost ratings. Stars like AJ Styles, The Miz, Natalya, and The Viking Raiders appeared on the show to wrestle younger stars.
Based on a cryptic tweet, Rhea Ripley could be the next star to arrive on the rainbow brand. This past Sunday, the newest Judgement Day member tweeted “Tuesday” with an hourglass emoji, implying an appearance on NXT.
Rhea recently joined Edges Judgement Day faction at WWE WrestleMania Backlash when she helped him beat AJ Styles. This came a few weeks after she turned on her Liv Morgan to dissolve their tag-team alliance.
If she is on her way to NXT, it’s likely in search of an opponent to destroy before Hell in a Cell. However, she could be looking to recruit for Judgement Day as Edge has been teasing a new member on Twitter.
It has been revealed that Harland was supposed to join the faction before he was released for lack of in-ring improvement. This may not have ruled out other candidates from the Tuesday show, and Rhea may meet them tonight.
Judgement Day will face AJ Styles, Finn Balor, and Liv Morgan in mixed tag action at Hell in a Cell. Given that In Your House and the premium live event are a day apart, Rhea may not appear at the former.
Whatever she may have planned in NXT, all eyes will be on her, if she does indeed appear tonight.
