WWE Superstar Solo Sikoa has said that he hoped that he wouldn’t be an Uso on main roster. He wanted to stand out on his own and establish himself.
Solo Sikoa made his main roster debut at Clash At The Castle PPV. He helped Roman retain his titles over Drew McIntyre at the event. He was then introduced as the brother of the Usos and latest member of bloodline.
While he joined the bloodline, Solo has very much kept his own character. ‘The Enforcer’ of bloodline has been represented as a singles star and retained his NXT name, gear and style.
Solo was latest guest on GiveMeSport WWE where he had an interview with Louis Dangoor. Dangoor questioned him if there was a concern that Solo may have to change his name or character on main roster and become third Uso.
The former North American Champion admitted that it was one of the things bothering him. He talked about the effort he had put into his NXT character work and he wished not be another Uso.
“That was one of the things that was messing with me. I was thinking about and was like, ‘I hope I’m not doing all this hard work in NXT, I’m establishing who I am and building my character, how I look and how I am.’ I’m different from my brothers,” he said. “I got the blonde hair. Solo has really grown on me. ‘I hope they don’t change me as an Uso.’ It’s such an easy transition to go back. I took time to perfect my craft as Solo. It’s an easy transition if they wanted me to go back or be another Uso.” – h/tFightful.
His brothers had stated the same wishing Solo to shine as a singles competitor.
