They say “Third time’s a charm”, however for Karrion Kross his time on the main roster was far from it and before he was released yesterday, he was in for that third chance.

Yesterday, WWE released Kross and 17 other individuals from the company, including Kross’ fiancée Scarlett Bordeaux. Now, it is being reported by the Wrestling Observer Newsletter (WON) that Vince McMahon recently made the call to pull Kross from TV for a third time, because he hadn’t connected with the WWE Universe since being called up to the main roster from NXT.

It was also reported back in October, that WWE had more changes for Kross’s persona, with the idea that he would end up becoming more of a “psycho” while remaining “calm and cool.” The report further noted that Kross was going to keep the Gladiator style helmet he used on the main roster, but would also receive a new updated entrance package. Within these plans, also called for Kross to remain solo on RAW as there were no further mentions to bring Scarlett to accompany him on the main roster.

As for now, Kross will have to wait out his 90 day no-compete clause, then after that has expired, he will have free picking to enter a new ring and connect with a new wave of fans.
