More AEW locker room conflict has emerged into the public eye as CM Punk shoots on Adam Page and The Elite during the post All Out media scrum
AEW All Out had many shocking moments including the returns of MJF and Samoa Joe. However, one of the numerous shocking moments over the weekend was the comments made by CM Punk at the post All Out media scrum.
The new AEW World Champion went on an epic rant, alluding to issues with Adam Page, Colt Cabana and “EVP’s” which are positions held by Kenny Omega and The Young Bucks.
What Did The Voice Of The Voiceless Say?
In reference to the EVP’s, Punk referred to them as “stupid” and “irresponsible” and claimed they were spreading lies to the media to get their “niche audience” to hate him. Punk said…
“we have irresponsible people who call themselves EVPs, and couldn’t f**king manage a Target, and they spread lies and bulls**t and put into a media that I got somebody fired when I have f**k all to do with him, want nothing to do with him, do not care where he works, where he doesn’t work, where he eats, where he sleeps. And the fact that I have to get up here and do this in 2022 is f**king embarrassing.” (H/T wrestletalk.com)
“Because if you’re an EVP, you don’t try and middle your top babyface, try to get your niche audience on the internet to hate him for something, made up bulls**t rumor. It really pisses me off. Stepping on your own dick trying to f**king make money, sell tickets, fill arenas and these stupid guys think they’re in Reseda.” (H/T wrestletalk.com)
“There are people that call themselves EVPs that should’ve f***ing known better,” Punk said. “This s*** was none of their business. I understand sticking up for your f***ing friends, I f***ing get it. I stuck up for [Cabana] more than anybody. I paid his bills, until I didn’t, and it was my decision not to.” (H/T wrestlinginc.com)
These comments reportedly antagonized The Elite to threaten to walk out of AEW aswell as reportedly creating a locker room “melee” after the Punk part of the conference.
In reference to Hangman Page, whom Punk has reportedly had issues with since Double or Nothing, Punk called Adam Page “empty headed” and claimed he needs to “grow up” when referring to comments Adam Page made about not wanting to take advice from legends. Punk said…
“What did I ever do in this world to deserve an empty-headed f**king dumb f**k like Hangman Adam Page to go out on national television and f**king go into business for himself. What did I ever do? Didn’t do a Goddamn thing.” (H/T wrestletalk.com)
“I’m trying to run a f**king business, and when somebody who hasn’t done a damn thing in this business jeopardizes the first million dollar house that this company has ever drawn, off of my back, and goes on national television and does that, it’s a disgrace to this industry, it’s a disgrace to this company.” (H/T wrestletalk.com)
“We’re far beyond apologies. I gave him a f**king chance, it did not get handled, and you saw what I had to do – which is very regrettable, lowering myself to his f**king level, but that’s where we’re at right now.” (H/T wrestletalk.com)
“Our locker room, for all the wisdom and brilliance it has, isn’t worth s**t when you have an empty-headed idiot who’s never done anything in the business do public interviews and say, ‘I don’t really take advice’. Who the f**k do you think you are? That’s stupid… F**king go f**k yourself. That’s how I feel about it. I dare you to fking say that to Terry Funk’s face, ‘I don’t need to listen to you Mr Funk, I know what I’m doing’. F**king grow up.” (H/T wrestletalk.com)
