CM Punk has made his first appearance in AEW Dynamite following his 9 month absence, setting up a huge 8-Man Tag Team Match for this Saturday’s AEW Collision event.
After more than 9-months of long absence, ‘The Best in the World’ CM Punk made his long-awaited return during this past Saturday’s edition of AEW Collision, which also marked the debut episode of this brand-new AEW show.
Ever since making his return and scoring up an important victory over Bullet Club Gold (‘SwitchBlade’ Jay White & ‘Rock Hard’ Juice Robinson’) & Samoa Joe, many fans started to speculate about the possibilities of CM Punk making an appearance at this week’s edition of AEW Dynamite.
And, as seen during tonight’s edition of AEW Dynamite, these speculations turned out to be true as CM Punk made his long-awaited return and setted up a huge match for this Saturday’s edition of AEW Collision.
Punk’s long-awaited return to the main AEW show came moments after the opening bout, which featured a Tag Team Match between The Gunns and The Hardys. After Matt, Jeff, Ricky Starks and FTR suffered a huge beatdown at the hands of Bullet Club Gold & The Gunns, CM Punk rushed to the ring to take out all men and even up the odds.
Additionally, CM Punk also announced he will join forces with FTR & Ricky Starks to challenge Bullet Club Gold & The Gunns to a very interesting 8-Man Tag Team Match on the next episode of AEW Collision, which will take place this upcoming Saturday June 24th from the Scotiabank Arena in Toronto, Canada.
