International music sensation Bad Bunny has been awarded Wrestling Republic’s Entrance of The Year Award for 2023.
Bad Bunny, 29 years old, received numerous praises from wrestling fans and media around the world for all of his amazing in-ring performances. However, his remarkable entrance at WWE’s Backlash PLE in Puerto Rico was beyond amazing.
Sami Zayn’s entrance at Elimination Chamber 2023 in his hometown of Montreal and Zelina Vega’s WWE Backlash entrance in Puerto Rico were runners up in this category, which Bunny ultimately won after a vote conducted by Wrestling Republic’s esteemed voting committee.
The Voting Committee Reasonings For The Choice:
“Bad Bunny entrance will always give me goosebumps and never get tired of watching it to this day,” said Wrestling Republic’s ‘Take It To The Table’ Host Chaos. “From the drone shot showing the crowd, to the crowd singing his new theme word for word, bar for bar. it was electrifying and showed Puerto Rico’s true passion for their own.”
Wrestling Republic’s Head of Reviewing Coby Galenzoski agreed with this take and explained that “entrance of the year had to go to the entrance that gives me goosebumps every single time I see it. Not only does this entrance do that, but the crowd made it even better by singing Bad Bunny’s song. Its by far entrance of the year.”
Wrestling Republic’s AEW Reviewer David Sheldon backed all of this up by stating it is “the easiest award to give, Bad Bunny’s entrance at WWE Backlash is one of the most special entrances I have ever witnessed, helped both by Bunny’s starpower and the rapturous response of the Puerto Rican crowd. A truly showstopping moment to be savoured.”
What’s Next For Bad Bunny?
Fans haven’t seen Bad Bunny in action again ever since that match, mainly because of his other commitments. However, the music megastar could definitely bring in more memorable moments to the pro wrestling business whenever he decides to make his WWE return.
