Andrade teased a cryptic goodbye to the fans on social media.
El Idolo has been absent from the in-ring action for a while.
He was supposed to make some appearances at independent shows during the past weekend.
Unfortunately, he had to be pulled out from the show after a minor illness and replaced by Rey Fenix.
The cancelation of his appearance was followed by some cryptic social media posts.
Early in the morning, El Idolo took Instagram and posted a photo of him holding the mask he would wear in AEW.
With the caption “I just want to say thank you!!!”
“Bye. #howyouknow.”

The post was filled with speculations about his status and contract with AEW.
The post was also commented on by WWE stars Humberto Carrillo and Angel Garza, both wrestlers who used to be part of a faction alongside Andrade and Zelina Vega at WWE.
The rumors around said that the Los Ingobernables founder was looking for a way out of the promotion, following the reports of WWE reaching out to several AEW wrestlers.
Specifically, those wrestlers who were released when Vince McMahon was still in charge of the company.
This added to the alleged dissatisfaction by Andrade with AEW, his booking, and stories development.
Andrade hasn’t been on TV or in-ring action at AEW since the September 28 episode of “Rampage,” when he challenged Ten to a mask vs. career match.
The match was supposed to happen the following week, but it was called off after Andrade was sent home the next after an altercation with Sammy Guevara.
Both wrestlers had exchanged words over social media days before that heated up the situation.
Since what happened only Guevara returned to AEW programming, unlike Andrade who walks in an uncertain situation.
We will wait to see what the future has prepared for Andrade and his career in the wrestling industry.
We will keep you updated.
