We have some interesting updates on AEW’s console video game.
As reported by Fightful Select (subscription required), there have been talks with some of the AEW wrestlers, including big names like Kenny Omega and the newly crowned Women’s Champion Thunder Rosa, who confirmed that they already began taking reference photos and prototype modeling.
They also informed that the game would feature a story mode, which will be managed by Yuke’s Co. Ltd. This company was also responsible on the making of the historic SmackDown vs. Raw saga back at the day.
There is no information yet about who will publish the game, when will it go out, on which platforms it will be available or even the complete roster, since we could only saw Kenny Omega, Chris Jericho and Hikaru Shida on a teaser trailer uploaded on November 2020.
