It is very clear that over the past couple of weeks with his brother Rey Fenix’s injury, and his recent altercations with the House of Black, Penta El Zero Miedo has been dealing with some tough times. Well, Penta has an entire new thing to worry about. As announced today at an AAA press conference, Penta will be competing in an eight-man tournament, where the final two men standing will fight in a mask vs mask match at TripleMania XXX in October of 2022.
This eight-man tournament will be held over the next three TripleMania shows in 2022. The first show, TripleMania Regia on April 30, will feature the first round matches of the tournament. The second show will be taking place in a 30,000+ seat stadium in Tijuana on June 18, and that show will feature the semi-finals. As said above, the finals of the tournament will be held at TripleMania XXX!
The tournament consists of eight luchadors who will all be putting their masks on the line. The eight competitors are Penta El Zero Miedo, Blue Demon Jr., El Canek, LA Park, Psycho Clown, Rayo de Jalisco Jr., Villano IV, and Japanese legend, Ultimo Dragon.
We are looking forward very much to this tournament, but in the meantime, you can catch Penta El Zero Miedo on AEW Dynamite, Dark, and Rampage!
