GOOD Jimmy Uso Promo: WWE Smackdown December 13 2024 Opening Promo
Walking out with a crutch, they mention his broken toe injury. Mentioning how War Games was special. Claiming that it didn’t take out Big Jim, but it took out his big toe. Admitting how great it was to team with the OG Bloodline again. Also admitting he was proud of his little brother Solo. Saying he is prepared to move on to bigger things, wanting 2025 to be a big year for big Jim.
Drew McIntyre appeared and Claymore’d Jimmy Uso. Producers and Nick Aldis would scald Drew for his actions, getting him to leave the ring and go to the back. Aldis mentioning while only being picked up by the cameras, having a talk with Drew about coming to Smackdown but being hesitant now.

GOOD Michin Vs Tiffany Stratton – Women’s US Championship Semi Final: WWE Smackdown December 13 2024 First Match
This is an alright match. Once again Tiffany Stratton gets reactions and is extremely over, but Michin doesn’t get a lot. Tiffany’s offense looks good like always, her cartwheel alabama slam and her double stomp on the apron are great. The finish falls apart as Tiffany attempts her prettiest moonsault ever but Michin was too slow in rolling out of the way, getting hit by Tiffany. Michin then no sells it as it was meant to be a counter and hits eat defeat.
Results: Michin by Pinfall via Eat Defeat

SQUASH Carmelo Hayes Vs Braun Strowman:
It’s a logical choice to have a heel get squashed by a returning face monster. Hayes gets a couple of moves but ultimately falls to a powerslam.
Results: Braun Strowman by Pinfall via Powerslam
GREAT Solo Sikoa Vs LA Knight:
The crowd is probably the biggest part here. Solo has his heat and LA Knight has the crowd behind him. Its a solid and good match. The numbers game is clearly obvious with Tama and Jacob ringside. Knight has to battle the numbers game, Jacob Fatu rises from the rubble of the announce table. Attacking LA causing a DQ. The bloodline beat down Knight. Apollo and Andrade fail to make the save as The Bloodline stand tall. Clear atmospheric boost for the rating, but the match is solid.
Results: LA Knight by DQ via Jacob Fatu Interference
Coby Galenzoski WR Star Rating – 3.75 Stars
GOOD Bayley Vs Chelsea Green – Women’s United States Championship Semi Finals: WWE Smackdown December 13 2024 Main Event
Another alright match, nothing over the top great about it. Chelsea attempts to win by count out but Bayley makes the save. Green hits a kick and the unprettier for the win. A couple of rough spots that don’t look too clean. The crowd does give Chelsea a good pop when she wins.
Results: Chelsea Green by Pinfall via Unpretti-her

GREAT Cody Rhodes and Kevin Owens Face To Face: WWE Smackdown December 13 2024 Final Segment
Kevin would refuse to come out to the ring, Michael Cole tries to ask about Triple H’s gift. Owens appears on screen from his car and insults Cole’s unbiased questions as Kevin wants specific answers. Cody would get angered and say he will come out to the car. As Cody is going to the back, Kevin ends up attacking him from behind. They brawl out to the ring. Kevin lays Cody out with a shot with the championship. Standing tall with the championship as producers check on Rhodes.

WWE Smackdown December 13 2024 Overall Summary…
WWE Smackdown December 13 2024 brings an odd feel to a go home show. Obviously SNME isn’t a PLE but a TV special, but it is still a go home show. Aside from the semi finals being held and setting up Chelsea Green Vs Michin. The Cody Rhodes and Kevin Owens face to face was slightly uneventful aside from Kevin standing tall with the title in hand.
There are some important things that do happen, like Roman Reigns challenging Solo Sikoa for the Netflix debut. DIY explaining their actions. Along with Naomi becoming the new tag partner to help Bianca keep the tag championships. All happening in backstage segments / pre-recorded video packages. Wrestling wise there isn’t that much to go out of your way and see either. A somewhat skippable episode of Smackdown because you could watch the highlights of the segments on youtube.
