PREVIEW: Tonight’s episode of AEW Dark looks to be exciting, with appearances by some outstanding talent! Tonight’s card includes tag team matches between 2point0 and Ish and Kidd Bandit, Cameron Stewart and Dante Casanova and The Factory’s Nick Comoroto and Aaron Solow, and Bear Country vs Matt Sydal and Dante Martin. There are also a few singles matches to look forward to tonight, as we get to see Anthony Ogogo, Lance Archer, and Tony Nese in action! Tonight’s episode of AEW Dark has the potential to be a good show.
BELOW AVERAGE Anthony Ogogo and Marcus Kross: We kick off AEW Dark, with Anothony Ogogo and Marcus Kross. In this match we see Anthony getting over and looking dominant throughout the whole match against Marcus. Marcus had shown a little bit of offense in this match, but it wasn’t enough to win the match.
RESULT: Anthony Ogogo wins by KO against Marcus Kross
Aaliyah Alexander WR Star Rating: – 2.25 Stars.
AVERAGE Penelope Ford and Angelica Risk: This next match was fun to watch as we got to see Penelope and Angelica going at it. Both women showed some great offense in this match.
RESULT: Penelope Ford submits Angelica Risk with the Indian Death Lock
Aaliyah Alexander WR Star Rating: – 2.5 Stars.
AVERAGE QT Marshall and Toa Liona: This was an entertaining match to watch between these two competitors. Overall, it was a good match that helped QT gain some momentum.
RESULT: QT Marshall defeats Toa Liona with the diamond cutter
Aaliyah Alexander WR Star Rating: – 2.75 Stars.
AVERAGE 2point0 and Ish and Kidd Bandit: This tag match was thrilling and entertaining to watch. The match was fast-paced, and both tag teams appeared to be evenly matched.
RESULT: 2point0 defeats Ish and Kidd Bandit by hitting Ish with whiplash on the ropes.
Aaliyah Alexander WR Star Rating: – 3.0 Stars.
SQUASH Lance Archer and Jordan Costa: Lance dominated the whole match against Jordan Costa. Jordan tried to gain some offense during this match, but it didn’t work out for him as Lance ended the match shortly after.
RESULT: Lance Archer defeats Jordan Costa with the EBD Claw
AVERAGE Fuego Del Sol gets interviewed about his match with Serpentico next week on AEW Dark. Fuego lets everyone know that it is his time and that he makes the most of the time. He then tells Serpentico that he is nothing like him and that he is the hottest in the game.
BELOW AVERAGE Marina Shafir and Reka Tehaka: This was a decent match, but Marina mostly dominated the entire match. Reka showed that she had a little fight in her, but Marina was able to gain the victory.
RESULT: Marina Shafir wins by putting Reka Tehaka in a triangle chokehold with her leg.
Aaliyah Alexander WR Star Rating: – 2 Stars.
AVERAGE The Factory and Cameron Stewart, and Dante Casanova: Both tag teams performed admirably in this match. There was a lot of back and forth during this match, but the Factory came out on top.
RESULT: The Factory wins by pinfall against Cameron Stewart and Dante Casanova

GOOD Tony Nese and Zack Clayton: These two wrestlers put on a fantastic match. It was entertaining to watch these two wrestles because they are both exceptional athletes.
RESULT: Tony Nese defeats Zack Clayton with the running knee strike
Aaliyah Alexander WR Star Rating: – 3.0 Stars.
AVERAGE Kiera Hogan and Mazzerati: Kiera and Mazzerati had a good match. In this match, they both displayed excellent offense against each other.
RESULT: Kiera Hogan wins by pinfall against Mazzerati
Aaliyah Alexander WR Star Rating: – 2.5 Stars.
GOOD Dark Order’s Alan “5” Angels Preston “10” Vance and Ariya Daivari and Invictus Khash: This was a great classic tag team match between these two teams. It was entertaining to watch as both teams went all out to win this match.
RESULT: Dark Order wins submission against Ariya Daivari and Invictus Khash
Aaliyah Alexander WR Star Rating: – 3 Stars.
AVERAGE The Dark Order is interviewed in the ring and asked what their plans are for 2022. QT Marshall comes out and claims that the Dark Order is profiting from him. QT Marshall then enters the ring with the rest of the Factory and invites Alan and Preston to join his team. They decline, and The Factory jumps them for saying no.
GOOD Dante Martin and Matt Sydal and Bear Country: This was a great tag match between both of these teams. It was fun to see Matt and Dante team up again in this match against Bear Country.
RESULT: Dante Martin and Matt Sydal win by pinfall against Bear Country
Aaliyah Alexander WR Star Rating: – 3.2 Stars.
GOOD Joey Janela and Lee Moriarty: A great main event match between Lee Moriarty and Joey Janela. This was a great match and it helped Lee gain some attraction towards the crowd as he was able to pick up the victory.
RESULT: Lee Moriarty defeats Joey Janela by rolling him up in a European Clutch.
Aaliyah Alexander WR Star Rating: – 3.2 Stars.
AVERAGE Tony congratulates Lee Moriarty on his victory over Joey Janela. Lee thanks him and goes on to say that he is the future, but he wants to be the “right now” and that he doesn’t have time to wait. He claims to have a new attitude and a new focus, and that he is ready to take over right now.
Overall, this episode of AEW Dark had some good matches that contributed to it being a good episode, but it also had some less exciting matches. There were a lot of good tag team matches with well-known tag teams like The Factory, Bear Country, and Dark Order. There was also a fantastic main event featuring Lee Moriarty and Joey Janela. The opening contest between Anthony Ogogo and Marcus Kross, on the other hand, was nothing to get excited about. Regardless, tonight’s episode was entertaining to watch and well worth a try.
