WWE Wrestlemania 41 Sunday does a lot of things right. Having a very strong first match with the Triple Threat, the Street fight and the IC title four way. Also being filled with moments, Becky Lynch’s return, Joe Hendry facing Randy Orton and Travis Scott appearing. The crowd is slightly stronger than the Saturday crowd. We have storylines paid off like Drew and Damian’s. Iyo being able to prove the odds and not be underestimated. With John Cena now on his quest to ruin Wrestling, he has the WWE championship and his 17th World title. AJ Styles and Karrion Kross will most likely find each other soon enough. Dominik and Finn clearly will have issues to resolve after tonight.
There is a higher quality of wrestling but two weak matches in the semi and the co main. Not ideal to have Match 6 and 7 out of 7 be the weakest ones. This is the better night of the year but Wrestlemania still has a lot of flaws as a whole.
WWE Wrestlemania 41 Sunday brings the second night of the biggest weekend of the year. With John Cena having his last Wrestlemania Main Event against Cody Rhodes. Iyo Sky defending against both Bianca Belair and Rhea Ripley. Drew and Damian in a Sin City Street Fight. Logan Paul and AJ Styles facing each other. Randy’s open challenge, Lyra needing a partner to challenge for the tag titles with and the Intercontinental Championship four way.
PERFECT Iyo Sky Vs Bianca Belair Vs Rhea Ripley – World Women’s Championship Match: WWE Wrestlemania 41 Sunday Opening Match
This is everything it needed to be. With Iyo Sky, Rhea Ripley and Bianca Belair having easily the match of the show. There are brilliant spots, great counters. A crazy hot crowd whether it was for Iyo or Rhea while Bianca continues to get booed from the WWE Universe. This builds off of the tension demonstrated with Rhea and Bianca while Iyo Sky just wants to prove herself. With enjoyable and convincing nearfalls, Iyo Sky hits a moonsault on both Belair and Ripley while Rhea was being pinned to get the win.
Results: Iyo Sky by Pinfall via Moonsault on Bianca Belair

MUST WATCH Drew McIntyre Vs Damian Priest – Sin City Street Fight:
Fundamentals: 0.75
Atmosphere: 1
Storytelling: 0.75
Psychology: 1
Innovation: 1
This match is electric, with Drew and Damian going through hitting each other with big spots. The psychology is clear with the visible pain both men are going through. Drew and Damian have a hard hitting match here. From being pushed off the old school walk through tables, to a nasty looking future shock on the steel steps. Its stiff, hard hitting, with great moments and a truly perfect ending with a nasty claymore into a chair.
Results: Drew McIntyre by Pinfall via Claymore into a Chair

MUST WATCH Bron Breakker Vs Penta Vs Finn Balor Vs Dirty Dominik Mysterio – Intercontinental Championship:
Fundamentals: 0.75
Atmosphere: 1
Storytelling: 1
Psychology: 1
Innovation: 0.75
Finn Balor was the biggest heel in this match for attacking Dirty Dominik Mysterio. From barking like dogs for Bron Breakker to singing Dirty Dirty Dom the crowd here was electric. Using issues between all men while also putting an emphasis on Finn and Dom. Having moments of saving each other and tensions have boiled over. Dom goes for the 619 on Finn but Balor counters. The finish of the match revolves around this issue as Finn stops Dom from hitting a frog splash. Hits a coup de grace on Breakker but Dom gets a great frog splash and pins his faction mate. This is electric from start to finish with everyone getting their moments.
Results: Dominik Mysterio by Pinfall via Frog Splash on Finn Balor

SQUASH Randy Orton Vs Joe Hendry:
Gonna be remembered for the moment. A TNA World Champion on Wrestlemania. Joe gets a great reaction, and is able to work the crowd. Mid match he does his turn around and gets hit with an RKO.
Results: Randy Orton by Pinfall via RKO
GREAT Aj Styles Vs Logan Paul:
Fundamentals: 0.75
Atmosphere: 0.75

Psychology: 0.75

This is actually very very fun. With AJ Styles and Logan Paul having a solid exchange. With Logan getting his hits like the buckshot lariat, the reverse powerbomb. Countering Aj Styles’ moves and even hitting his out Styles Clash. AJ wouldn’t have it and just transitioned it right into his one. Logan Paul’s manager attempted to get the brass knuckles into the ring but Karrion Kross stops him. A great pop for him, AJ Styles throws the manager but doesn’t accept Kross’ gesture. He is distracted allowing Logan to counter the Phenomenal Forearm into the big punch and a Paulverizer.
Results: Logan Paul by Pinfall via Paulverizer

GOOD Liv Morgan and Raquel Rodriguez Vs Becky Lynch and Lyra Valkyria – Women’s Tag Team Championship: WWE Wrestlemania 41 Sunday Semi Main Event
Fundamentals: 0.75
Atmosphere: 0.50
Storytelling: 0.50
Psychology: 0.75
Innovation: 0.50
This is a basic match. Its well wrestled with good psychology. Tag Team psychology revolving around the heels being the heels and taking advantage. The Becky hot tag is fun. Lyra making the save for Liv’s oblivion on Becky made sense to protect her finisher. Shortly after Becky gets the Man Handle Slam for the win. It’s a fine match but is pretty basic. They need a rematch that can be like the match where Liv and Raquel won the titles.
Results: Becky Lynch by Pinfall via Man Handle Slam on Liv Morgan

GREAT Cody Rhodes Vs John Cena – WWE Championship: WWE Wrestlemania 41 Sunday Main Event
Fundamentals: 0.75
Atmosphere: 1
Storytelling: 0.75
Psychology: 0.50
Innovation: 0.50
This match is divisive clearly. What I can say is this match has a crazy hot crowd. While also being mainly for John Cena. The wrestling part of it is fine. Not flawless because you won’t get flawless out of John anymore. And the match had a good enough structure that stuck to the character of John Cena. John is now wrestling like a bad guy. Like someone who is taking the cheap shots. What wasn’t good about this match is we get to a part where the rest of the match feels like only Attitude Adjustments. Cody kicked out of several of them even and avalanche one is rough. There isn’t much unique about this. Travis Scott ends up being there and ends up being the reason Cena can cheat with the title. He low blows and hits Cody with the belt to win in an anticlimactic ending.
Results: John Cena by Pinfall via Championship Strike
