Overall: Well here we are, shortly removed from Summerslam in Nashville, Tennessee and it was one heck of a venue for an event like this. It was a show that featured some remarkable high spots and some remarkably low ones as well. Liv Morgan brought back the blue tongue and also retained her title against Ronda Rousey in a match that left more than some to be desired. Bayley is back, and she’s not alone, she’s got some friends by her side, first a returning Dakota Kai, and second a renamed Io Shirai (Iyo Sky). Paul Heyman stole the show in the main event, until he didn’t. It was actually a tractor that stole the show, not just any tractor, but one operated by the Beast Incarnate. He used that machine to move the ring on its side. After that and a huge onslaught that included interference from the Uso’s the Tribal Chief was able to overcome his greatest rival once again. Theory attempted to play a role, but by the end of the night his role was clearly a small one. Bianca Belair retained her Raw Women's Title in an instant classic in the opener. When I say instant classic, I mean that, there isn’t a heck of a lot more we could have asked out of Becky and Bianca. There were two notable celebrity appearances and while Logan Paul was responsible for some high spots, and Pat McAfee worked as hard as he could, there was still some room for improvement. Both men delivered from an entertainment standpoint but there wasn’t a way to rate those matches highly fundamentally in good faith. Oh yeah, Seth Rollins stomped Riddle again, and Edge made an underwhelmingly predictable return.
It’s Summerslam, It’s Nashville, Tennessee. What more could we ask for? It’s the Biggest Party of the Summer in one of the greatest party cities in America! Bianca Belair defends her Raw Women’s Championship in her home state of Tennessee against the opponent that took her title from her at this very same event last year, Becky Lynch. The Uso’s defend the Undisputed Tag Titles against the Street Profits once again. Pat Mcafee is in action against Happy Corbin and Youtube sensation Logan Paul will test his metal against the Miz. All that and more, coming up next on Summerslam.
MUST WATCH Bianca Belair Vs Becky Lynch – Raw Women’s Championship: Becky Lynch and Bianca both get monster pops from the crowd. Belair is in gear reminiscent of the Dallas Cowboys. The match starts and it’s back and forth for a long time. Lynch has so many offensive weapons and this is one of the cleanest matches of all time. It is hard to deny that there are two better in-ring workers in the business right this second. After an absolute all timer, Bianca hits the KOD to pick up the victory!
Results: Bianca Belair by Pinfall via Kiss Of Death.

After Becky and Bianca share an emotional moment between Bianca and Becky, BAYLEY makes her shocking return. Dakota Kai and Io Shirai make their returns to the company debuting.
AMAZING Logan Paul Vs The Miz: Both entrances receive decent pops. Logan Paul slips on the ropes as he poses and is in the classic Cobra Kai colors. After Miz gets his licks in early Logan Paul is able to hit a slap across the chest of the A Lister. He hits a shoulder block and knocks Miz to the apron and follows with a very technical moonsault. The crowd goes wild after it lands and back in the ring, Logan follows with chops and some more offense before Miz is able to land a facebreaker to regain control of the match. After Miz dominates for a while Logan Paul is able to hit a cross body and he follows with a standing moonsault. Paul is back in the game but now Ciampa inserts himself into the action, and he’s trying to grab a steel chair. AJ Styles’ music hits, and he enters to stop Ciampa before he uses that chair as a weapon. Logan Paul hits a Phenomenal Forearm and nearly wins the match! He clears the announce table, and Miz is set up prone on top of the table. Paul lands a frog splash from the top turnbuckle through the announce desk. Logan Paul hits the Skull Crushing Finale and picks up the victory on the Miz!

GOOD Bobby Lashley Vs Theory – United States Championship: Overall this was a short match that had some decent stuff in the ring. Lashley was over with the crowd, Theory tried to walk out during the match. The match was quick, short but decent. Finish was the best part of the match, a military press into the hurt lock for the win.
Results: Bobby Lashley by Submission via Hurt Lock

GOOD Judgment Day with Rhea Ripley Vs The Mysterios – No Disqualification: So this match truly served its purpose and that was the Edge return. For a no DQ match: 1 – Why were there tags? and 2 – Why were there rope breaks? Outside of the Edge return they had better matches on Raw. There were a few nice spots but Edge’s return did pop the crowd in a great way, with him returning as Brood Edge. Overall a good enough match that had the buff due to the return.
Results: Mysterios By Pinfall via Slingshot Splash After Double 619.

GREAT Pat McAfee Vs Happy Corbin: Overall this match was slightly underwhelming while being a solid match at the same time. Pat McAfee truly “exposed‘ himself in this match, in a really good way. We saw Pat McAfee do multiple things that did not look polished but the delivery came across as endearing, which may be better for Mcafee the performer in the long run. Pat almost lost his balance, he did an alright sunset bomb. Pat almost missed his jump up to the top rope for the superplex but he recovered it.Pat’s position in the company is similar to how Shane O Mac was. Pat isn’t the best wrestler but he is having zero trouble in entertaining the crowd and being a very over guy. We did see Corbin do a shotgun dropkick which was shocking. Nothing too innovative from this match but from our system it just made it to 3.50.
Results: Pat McAfee by Pinfall via Sunset Flip Powerbomb

AMAZING The Usos Vs The Street Profits – Jeff Jarrett Guest Referee, WWE Undisputed Tag Team Championships: Dawkins and Ford are wearing Tennessee Titans themed gear and the match starts with Angelo Dawkins locking up with Jimmy Uso. The Uso’s dominate the early action and Nissan Stadium is fired up beyond belief for this one. Jeff Jarrett inserts himself in the action early but he’s not overbearing in any way thus far. Montez Ford is fired up on the apron but Dawkins can’t get to him until he finally does. Ford and Jey Uso trade shots in the center of the ring and the Uso’s dominate for 4-5 minutes of action. The Profits respond with a flurry of their own however and Dawkins lands an incredible dive to give the Profits back the momentum. The Uso’s hit a double Uso Splash on Dawkins but it is broken up by Ford. After the kickout, Ford flies from the Heavens and the match is nearly won but because of his damaged ribs it is not quite enough. Dawkins is hit with the 1-D by the Uso’s and the match is over. The Uso’s are still the champions. It was clear that this match had a rough time following up their classic from Money In The Bank. But it was still a very solid match at the end of the day. Jeff Jarrett did have one of the best nearfall of the entire show by literally putting himself on his back to show the count being so close.
Results: The Usos by Pinfall via 1-D

Riddle runs into the ring saying how Randy told him to not take another from nobody. Seth Rollins comes out to his theme but is held back by producers. Seth escapes and the brawl commences before Seth finishes it with the stomp before getting guided out of the place.
BELOW AVERAGE Ronda Rousey Vs Liv Morgan – Smackdown Women’s Championship: The match starts with a huge flurry from Rousey. She is all over Liv offensively to start this contest. After a match that is completely dominated by Ronda Rousey, Liv Morgan rolls her up while being armbarred to retain via pinfall. What a wild match this was as Ronda dominated from start to finish, while Morgan was still able to pick up the win. Overall this match kinda reeked of Summerslam 2018 where Ronda just got to toy with Alexa Bliss. Liv Morgan got some offense that did not look effective.
Results: Liv Morgan by Pinfall via ArmBar Reversal

MUST WATCH Roman Reigns Vs Brock Lesnar – Last Man Standing, WWE Undisputed Universal Championship: Roman Reigns enters first, and he takes his time on the way to the ring before grabbing a microphone, to ask the crowd to “Acknowledge him.” Lesnar enters next and he’s driving a tractor to the ring. Brock decided to bring the farm to Summerslam. After a promo from Lesnar the match starts like a house of fire. The two most dangerous men in WWE are going to fight to a 10 count finish. Brock Lesnar and Roman are showing a level of physicality rarely seen in a WWE match. After the Beast dominates early, Roman Reigns delivers a samoan drop through the table. He follows with a Superman Punch and Brock Lesnar is down until a count of 7. Brock gets behind the wheel of the tractor and he is trying to use the tractor as a weapon against Reigns and he now has him in the front loader of the tractor. Roman Reigns is dumped into the ring via the front loader and Reigns is up after a count of 8. Another exchange ensues and Roman Reigns is barely up once again at a count of 9 after an F-5 and a guillotine choke. Brock gets behind the wheel of the tractor once again and he lifts the ring on its side, dumping Reigns out towards the announce tables. Paul Heyman is F-5’d through the announce table. Theory interrupts and tries to cash in his briefcase but Brock Lesnar delivers another F-5 to Theory on the briefcase but it allows the Uso’s to hit Brock Lesnar. Roman Reigns delivers a spear after another 9 count and Brock Lesnar makes it to his feet once again. It takes multiple unbelievable spots to put Lesnar away, and he’s buried under rubble, but Roman Reigns is still the Undisputed Champion. During the watch party we were all on the fence for this match. Saying it was really only slightly better than the Mania match. But The Tractor pushing and lifting the ring is what sold us as a collective group on this match. We all were glued to the screens for the entire rest of the match. Great work from WWE for truly getting us to the point of being on the edge of our seats.
