WWE Smackdown February 07 2025 brings the first appearance for the WWE Champion following his brutal ladder match. Cody Rhodes and Jey Uso are set to meet after Jey won the Rumble. For the third time this week, Charlotte Flair appears as she looks to be inspired by the champions that she can choose. Elimination Chamber qualifiers continue with Alexa Bliss Vs Candice LeRae, Bianca Belair Vs Piper Niven. And a Triple Threat match with the newest Smackdown star, Drew McIntyre, Jimmy Uso and LA Knight.
GREAT Jey Uso Promo: WWE Smackdown February 07 2025 Opening Promo
Similar to Raw, Jey received the desires from the fans for another encore yeet. Jey would be the one to introduce Cody, not being interrupted like Monday. Cody would says the location like he normally does but tells Jey he knows what Jey wanted to talk about. Rhodes would continue to talk about last weekend. Mentioning time with doctors and listing several injuries that he is currently working through. Cody would go on to say that there was happy news because he was so proud of Jey. Telling Jey that if he chooses him, tonight could be the last time they have fun, referring to the extra-curr type of activities.
Both men exchange respect with a handshake but Jacob Fatu and Tama Tonga arrive. Tama tells everyone to shush with his yeyeyeyeyeye. Jacob would say to Cody that his family lost the championship almost a year ago. He tells Jey that if there was someone to bring it back to the family it sure wouldn’t be him. Jey superkicks Tonga before a brawl is started. Fatu attempts the hip attack to Cody but Jey stops him with a superkick. Cody and Jey take Fatu out of the ring as they Champ and Rumble winner stand tall.

GOOD Bianca Belair Vs Piper Niven – Elimination Chamber Qualifier:
It’s a fine wrestled match. The typical Bianca Vs Piper match. There are far better matches that they have had before, this sticks to the basics. Bianca is selling as she has to fight from below. Piper does the power moves. Building to the eventual KOD which is hit. Belair gets the win.
Results: Bianca Belair by Pinfall via Kiss Of Death
Coby Galenzoski WR Star Rating – 3.25 Stars
GOOD DIY Promo:
DIY attempt to claim that they are the best tag team in the world. Wanting a moment of silence for MCMG’s dreams. They fail to get it with the crowd booing them. Pretty Deadly arrive trying to remind the champs of their role within their reign. Ciampa is visibly mad and angered but Nick Aldis arrives. Aldis would set up a match between a street-clothes wearing DIY and Pretty Deadly. Pretty Deadly being able to earn a shot if they beat the champs.
Coby Galenzoski WR Star Rating – 3.00 Stars
SQUASH DIY Vs Pretty Deadly – If Pretty Deadly Win They Get a Tag Team Championship:
Starts during the ad break, yes international viewers got to see it. It is a squash match. Pretty Deadly get some reactions for some of their moves, including the slingshot codebreaker. Ciampa attempts to cheat but Kit Wilson boots Ciampa and helps Prince roll up Ciampa for the win. We will get a proper defense in a week or two.
Results: Elton Prince by Pinfall via Rope Assisted O’Connor Roll Counter On Ciampa
AMAZING Drew McIntyre, Jimmy Uso and LA Knight Promo: WWE Smackdown February 07 2025 Best Promo
Drew would come out first talking about a fresh start, away from the egos on Raw. Referring to Punk, Seth and Roman creating a toxic environment. Proclaiming that he is going to go after Cody next and now this is the real Drew. Jimmy Uso would come out saying that people didn’t steal opportunities from Drew but now he wanted to earn one for himself. Drew asks Jimmy if he is mad he didn’t say yeet first.
LA Knight arrives and cuts a kayfabe-less segway about it being okay for men to cry. He then ties it to the match and how Drew only crys. Calling him Drew McInCryer. Knight says he forget to get his stuff in before going to the ring to start the triple threat.

AMAZING Drew McIntyre Vs Jimmy Uso Vs LA Knight – Elimination Chamber Qualifier: WWE Smackdown February 07 2025 Best Match
This is a very enjoyable triple threat match. With fun moments and a hot crowd. Some nearfalls like Jimmy’s splash being countered into a small package but it didn’t get Knight the win. The crowd was on the edge of their seat with Drew pulling the ref out of the ring to stop Jimmy from winning. The finish of the BFT and Claymore was a very well done finish to close this fun match.
Results: Drew McIntyre by Pinfall via Claymore To The Back of Knight
Coby Galenzoski WR Star Rating – 4.00 Stars
ABOVE AVERAGE Akira Tozawa Vs Carmelo Hayes:
This is a whatever match. Carmelo Hayes finally gets to dominate someone and its Akira Tozawa. Getting the win with the nothing but net after the biggest highlight being the crowd chanting Air Ball throughout the match at Melo.
Results: Carmelo Hayes by Pinfall via Nothing But Net
Coby Galenzoski WR Star Rating – 2.75 Stars
GREAT Charlotte Flair Promo:
Finally Charlotte is cutting a heel promo here. Not caring about being loved or hated as people can’t stop talking about her. Flair would call everyone else unserious in the rumble. Saying she wanted to be inspired as she saw both Rhea and Giulia. On cue we get the Its Tiffy Time drop.
Tiffany says there is no bigger Charlotte fan than herself. Saying that people didn’t know what would happen with Charlotte gone. Saying people cared about the injury for a day. Stratton went on to claim that the tickets sales and the success of WWE went up with her on top. Tiffany wants her first Wrestlemania to be defeating Charlotte Flair. Clearly the fans have their favourite in Tiffany.
Charlotte calls her a child but before Tiffany could say anything Nia’s theme hit. Nia and Candice walk out with Nia saying this is premature and that next week is her rematch. Since Nia didn’t have to try to compete in the chamber.
Coby Galenzoski WR Star Rating – 3.75 Stars
ABOVE AVERAGE Alexa Bliss Vs Candice LeRae – Elimination Chamber Qualifier:
This is an alright match, it is clear Alexa hasn’t wrestled in a long time so her A Game has to be trained towards. Candice LeRae guides the match, working her down. Using Lilly to get some heat and to turn Alexa’s aggression up a notch. Alexa gets the win with the Abigail DDT getting the best reaction of the match.
Results: Alexa Bliss by Pinfall via Abigail DDT
Coby Galenzoski WR Star Rating – 2.75 Stars
GREAT Cody Rhodes and Jey Uso Vs Jacob Fatu and Tama Tonga: WWE Smackdown February 07 2025 Main Event
This is a standard tag team match. Nothing over the top amazing about it. Tama and Jacob control parts of the match and get their heat as the heels. After getting the hot tag, Cody hit a super cody cutter and Jacob kicked out of one, was a shocking moment. Rhodes gets the cross rhodes on Tama Tonga for the win. Its the safe option with Cody selling the damage of his injuries. Solo Sikoa slides behind Cody and spikes him to close the show.
Results: Cody Rhodes by Pinfall via Cross Rhodes on Tama Tonga
Coby Galenzoski WR Star Rating – 3.75 Stars
