WWE Raw June 2 2025 brings the go home show with the final MITB qualifiers. CM Punk is set to open Raw along to address Seth Rollins. Stephanie Vaquer is set to join the Raw roster officially as she is set for a MITB qualifier against Ivy Nile and Liv Morgan. Lyra Valkyria appears and is set to speak on Becky Lynch and their upcoming match. For the first time in decades, AJ Styles and CM Punk meet in the ring as both of them join El Grande Americano for a MITB qualifier.
GREAT CM Punk Promo: WWE Raw June 2 2025 Opening Promo
CM Punk addresses him being in the MITB ladder match. Mentioning his history, winning the briefcase twice, back to back. Using it as a way to take some shots towards John Cena selling his soul to a Bald fraud. Saying he has John’s number. Punk is determined to become champion once again. The man to interrupt him was Sami Zayn. Sami saying that he was frustrated with not being in MITB but there is a larger issue at hand. Telling Punk that Punk has to qualifier because Seth can’t win. The entire concept of if Seth wins, bad things will happen. Sami tries to get Punk to solely focus on his qualifier despite Sami and Jey getting involved in a Tag Team match. Sami ends the promo by hinting that if Punk was world champion, their next conversation would look a lot different.

GREAT Stephanie Vaquer Vs Liv Morgan Vs Ivy Nile – MITB Qualifier: WWE Raw June 2 2025 First Match
This is a fun match from all the stars involved. Vaquer being so over with the crowd, Liv getting her heat and Ivy getting some you suck chants. There are some good moments including the devil’s kiss to both Liv and Ivy. Some sequences that see fun counters and set ups. Ivy getting a double german is always impressive. Vaquer has great running meteoras in the corner. Liv’s diving codebreakers are always smooth also. After failing to steal a win on Liv’s Oblivion, Ivy is hit with the SVB for the win.
Results: Stephanie Vaquer by Pinfall via SVB on Nile

GREAT The War Raiders Vs Finn Balor and JD McDonagh:
After faking the New Day out, they are ejected. So the War Raiders are still going for The New Day and its still just dull. There is good tag team wrestling in this match, The War Raiders get good moments as a team. But in an interesting result, Roxanne Perez aids Finn by distracting the referee and helping the team get advantage. Finn gets a win with a coup de grace.
Results: Finn Balor by Pinfall via Coup De Grace

GOOD Lyra Valkyria Promo:
While this isn’t as strong as past promos from both. It sucks to say that Lyra is on the receiving end of what chants and I continue to hate this as a chant. She calls Becky Lynch out before telling her to shut up after Becky spoke in the video package. Valkyria tells Becky that she thinks Becky got to the top being a good person, but to stay on top forgot what it took to be a good person. Not wanting to let Becky have the chance to ruin what it means to be the IC champion. Becky says she doesn’t want to hurt Lyra but wants to make her better. Now that didn’t matter as Lyra will raise her hand.
After saying she wouldn’t fight in Tulsa, Lyra Valkyria would run after Becky who was leaving to the back. They have a brawl that results in them having to be held apart.

GREAT Sami Zayn and Jey Uso Vs Bron Breakker and Bronson Reed:
Bron Breakker and Bronson Reed look great and look dominant together. The crowd is firmly behind Sami and Jey Uso. This is a really good match with a general build of the babyfaces working up their offense. Sami is held up by Bron and Bronson but everyone is taken out by a dive from Jey. Great camera work leads up to Jey starting to get up but getting stomped. The trio attempted to set Sami up for an announce table spot. Punk uses a steel chair to break it up and make the save. Seth and Punk brawl before Seth stops his guys and audibly saying we know where Punk is later. Hinting at the main event.
Results: Jey Uso by DQ via Seth Rollins Stomp

GOOD Kairi Sane Vs Raquel Rodriguez:
A basic enough underdog fighting from below. Raquel being able to dominate Kairi convincingly. Liv starts to try and help Raquel but Iyo makes the save. Raquel is kicked into the post before being hit with an insane elbow for the win.
Results: Kairi Sane by Pinfall via Insane Elbow

AMAZING AJ Styles Vs CM Punk Vs El Grande Americano – MITB Qualifier: WWE Raw June 2 2025 Main Event
In a predictable fashion after hinting at it, Seth Rolllins, Bron and Bronson end up costing CM Punk the win. With Aj Styles diving onto everyone before setting up a phenomenal forearm. Americano catches it with a loaded mask headbutt for the win. A logical result with the character of Grande Americano. A well worked match from bell to bell and easily the main in ring highlight here. Seth’s group stands tall over Punk, Sami and Jey after the match.
Results: El Grande Americano by Pinfall via Catching Loaded Headbutt

WWE Raw June 2 2025 Overall Summary…
WWE Raw June 2 2025 is a strongly structured show that continues to revolve around the storyline with Seth Rollins and the concept of the future. The opening promo established further that Seth with the MITB wouldn’t be good. Promos throughout the night, including ones with Jey/Gunther, Sami Zayn and Karrion Kross, and Paul Heyman talking to Aj Styles. While the camera work to support the curb stomp on Jey was amazing, it felt weak to have the tag match with a non finish, while also having a brawl and Punk making the save. The main event saw El Grande Americano win his first main event by pinning AJ Styles after the interference from Seth and co. With Seth, Bron and Bronson standing tall over the fallen Sami, Jey and Punk.
Becky and Lyra exchange some more words before a brawl occurred. Stephanie Vaquer debuts as a Raw superstar and qualified for MITB. Issues within the Judgment Day continue to simmer in the pot. Gunther predicted the result of what would happen with Jey in a brilliant touch of storytelling between him and the champ. The show does well in reaffirming Seth winning being a bad thing while also establishing him as dangerous and possibly unbeatable with Bronson and Bron doing his bidding.
