AMAZING Jey Uso Promo: WWE Raw January 20 2025 Opening Promo
After doing his entrance through the crowd, Jey barely can get a word out before Gunther interrupts him. Gunther mentioned being excited for SNME but how Jey conducted himself tonight ruined it for him. Claiming that he is the mascot for the WWE. Someone that does something after a snap of their fingers. Citing, Roman, Jimmy, Sami and Cody as people Jey would do anything for. Pandering to the fans and now that on SNME he plans to expose Jey as a flash in the pan.
Jey would mention how he is the mascot. How the crowd is his people, his team and his squad. Sending love to the people that rock with him. Getting mad about Jimmy being mentioned. Saying the people would be with him when he defeats Gunther for the title. Wanting to earn Gunther’s respect while mentioning that he has main evented Wrestlemania and not Gunther. Gunther gets mad and attacks Jey. Jey fought him off using Gunther’s outfit to tangle him up before hitting a superkick. Uso poses with the gold before Gunther retreats with it in hand.

JBL is on commentary for this match after having a backstage segment with Woods and Kofi. Rey has the crowd firmly behind him as well. Sami talks about his career and how the Rumble is a star studded one. CM Punk, Seth Rollins, Drew McIntyre, John Cena, Rey Mysterio all guys who have WWE championships attached to their name. He mentions being one of the best on the roster and while he may not need a WWE title to be content with his career he wants it. Zayn wants to enter the rumble.
To our surprise Kevin Owens would come out and wasn’t as hostile towards Sami as some would have predicted. Kevin talks about the difference between Sami and Cody. Saying that Sami is his best friend and Sami is just someone that has forgiven both him and Roman. Kevin would lay down his expectations as he wants to help Sami win the Royal Rumble but he also wants Sami’s help with the ladder match. AMAZING Bayley Vs Nia Jax:
The crowd was much hotter for this than Bayley Vs Tiffany from Smackdown. With Nia getting true heat in the match and dominating Bayley for a good amount of the match. Also seeing Roxanne Perez ringside in the crowd. She tried to slap Bayley and ended up getting ejected from the ringside area. Roxanne might have kicked a fan as she was carried out.
Nia got a great pop up Samoan driver before hitting a senton and the AnNiahilator to get the win. Nia gets her boos before Rhea Ripley comes out. After being attack earlier in the day, Rhea gets her lick back. Hitting a flipping senton off of the announce table before grabbing a mic saying SNME they will have a match.
Results: Nia Jax by Pinfall via AnNiahilator

GREAT CM Punk and Jackie Interview:
Punk claims he is a history maker as he talks about main eventing the first Netflix Raw. He would dismiss all of the names like John Cena, Roman Reigns, Sami Zayn and even throws in a Hogan line about throwing his dusty ass out of the ring. Punk is determined to win the Rumble.

GOOD Damage CTRL Vs Pure Fusion Collective: WWE Raw January 20 2025 Co Main Event
My god Dakota took a wicked springboard dropkick from Zoey Stark. PFC control the match after and Iyo Sky gets the hot tag. Dakota would stop Sonya from interfering, and Zoey also gets kicked. Iyo breaks Shayna’s sleeper by sliding through the ropes and then hitting the moonsault. A fun tag match but why are they still feuding seven months later.

AMAZING Seth Rollins Vs Drew McIntyre: WWE Raw January 20 2025 Main Event
This is a very high quality match as expected. Seth and Drew have great chemistry and Drew controls the match. Using Drew’s hatred of Roman as a way to taunt and talk to Seth. Saying Seth was selfish because of his actions on not stopping Roman. Seth tries to fight back and talks back.
