WWE Raw December 16 2024 brought a statistically odd show. With the show having only 3 matches but comparably only about 6-7 minutes less ring time that SNME. The two championship matches got several segments in the show and both went the distance and had enough time to truly have solid matches. Bron Breakker retained while Ludwig worked his shoulder like a psychological master. The War Raiders get their revenge and finally dethrone the Judgment Day, having a great moment for Ivar who trained in Boston.
With Rhea Ripley telling Liv that she had officially became the number one contender. Seth and Punk engaging in a brawl that sets up their match in 2025. Pure Fusion Collective attack and take out Kairi Sane. Kofi Kingston and New Day are being shunned by several stars including Rey Mysterio. Sami Zayn is continuing to go after Drew McIntyre as they brawled in the back as well. The Miz was persuaded by Karrion Kross to face Dexter Lumis next week as well.
A show with a great crowd, solid flow throughout the night. Solid progression with several storylines within the Raw brand and two very well done matches.
WWE Raw December 16 2024 brings fallout from Saturday Night’s Main Event. With Finn Balor failing to capture the World Heavyweight championship, he has to defend the World Tag Team championships. The War Raiders get a rematch with Judgment Day being banned from Ringside. Ludwig Kaiser did not get pinned at Survivor Series, tonight he gets a proper Intercontinental Championship match with Bron Breakker. Kayden Carter, Zoey Stark and Raquel Rodriguez compete to advance in the Intercontinental Championship tournament.
MUST WATCH CM Punk Promo: WWE Raw December 16 2024 Opening Promo
CM Punk admits to having thought about Seth Rollins ever since last week. Claiming that Seth told the truth about him cutting him off. He would tell Seth that he failed him as a teacher. Punk would remind Seth that he is no Liberace, and just cause he has Elton John glasses, he isn’t Elton John. Waiting for Seth’s stupid theme, Seth would appear through the crowd, walking down the stairs.
Seth had a mic and claimed he wanted to see what the people saw in CM Punk. Punk told him he looked better in the crowd as a fan. Seth mentioned the Wrestlemania Main Event he had and thats what escalated it. Punk left the ring and went into the crowd. The brawl took place in the crowd before they moved into the ringside area. Also brawling into the ring. They are both pulled apart but go over the barricade going down the aisles to find a place in the crowd to fight. Punk and Rollins have to be separated again in the heat of the moment.

AMAZING Bron Breakker Vs Ludwig Kaiser – WWE Intercontinental Championship Match: WWE Raw December 16 2024 First Match
For a TV match this got time. With Ludwig Kaiser working and attacking the shoulder of Bron. Bron reciprocates the offense by selling brilliantly. Including having to make a comeback without that arm. Even struggling to take off the straps of his singlet. Kaiser kept on the shoulder of Breakker and had his moments to drink in the heat. Ludwig would set Bron up for the dropkick into the steps but Bron was able to counter by running around the ring as well, ultimately hitting a running shoulder block to Kaiser. Bron gets the win
Results: Bron Breakker by Pinfall via Super Spear

GREAT Liv Morgan Promo:
Dom tries to talk like always. Liv would then say into a Megaphone that she is the greatest women’s world champion of all time. Claiming this year was the year of Monday Night Morgan. Saying she was the right champion to lead the company into the new era.
Rhea Ripley would come out and Liv isn’t happy about it. Liv attempts to talk but Rhea tells her to shut up. Ripley would inform Morgan of what was coming because she became the new Number One Contender. Telling Liv that she will become the Women’s World Champion

GOOD Kayden Carter Vs Raquel Rodriguez Vs Zoey Stark – WWE Women’s Intercontinental Championship Quarter Final:
This is one of the first triple threats of the midcard women’s title tournaments that really had a weak crowd. For someone attached to the biggest heel women’s champion in the company, Raquel is not getting reactions. Kayden and Zoey had solid sequences and there were enough fun counters. Raquel had her knee targeted for both were working well cutting down the stronger star. Zoey dropkicking Kayden while Raquel had her up for the Tijuana Bomb was a fun spot. It did suck that the Z360 didn’t look great after it.
Results: Zoey Stark by Pinfall via Z360 on Kayden Carter

AMAZING Finn Balor and JD McDonagh Vs War Raiders – WWE World Tag Team Championship, Judgment Day Barred From Ringside: WWE Raw December 16 2024 Main Event
This was another match that got time. Building around JD and Finn using their underhanded tactics and trying to control the bigger guys. Working on Ivar and Erik both in separate parts of the match. Both of the hot tags that took place for Ivar and Erik were done well. There are fun sequences and fun counters. By the end of the match, since JD and Finn couldn’t get any help, Finn was trying to get a chair. Damian Priest stopped Finn as The War Raiders capitalized and was able to overcome the champions.
Ivar gets his moment in the area he trained.
Results: War Raiders by Pinfall via War Machine Clothesline On JD
