WWE Raw April 28 2025 is another promo heavy show. This time being built like Smackdown was when the Bloodline was the main feature. The episode is built around Seth Rollins’ and Sami Zayn. Having the opening and the closing segments/match along with backstage stuff for Sami throughout the show. Its well done as this new story with Seth is the main focus. Becky also gives a great promo on why she attacked both Bayley and Lyra Valkyria in a justified heel turn. Logan Paul wants Jey Uso… and Gunther Vs Pat McAfee is now official after Pat poured his heart in a brilliant promo.
Wrestling wise both women's matches were very well done, Ivy Nile having a very strong showing against NXT champion Stephanie Vaquer. Iyo saves Rhea from an attack from Roxanne and Giulia. War Raiders get a win with the help from Penta and Bron Breakker absolutely demolishes Sami Zayn. The weakest part of this show is the crowd, we have much stronger crowds before but as a whole I don’t think the crowd helped elevate or make enough better.
WWE Raw April 28 2025 brings the fallout from Bron Breakker aligning with Seth Rollins. Becky Lynch explaining her actions towards Lyra Valkyria. Rhea Ripley taking on former NXT Champion Roxanne Perez. Ivy Nile facing the NXT Women’s Champion Stephanie Vaquer in a non title challenge. Logan Paul announcing his next endeavor and much more.
AMAZING Seth Rollins and Sami Zayn Promo: WWE Raw April 28 2025 Opening Promo
Seth Rollins, Paul and Breakker came out to the ring. Rollins would continue to talk about the future of the industry. Claiming that he was the perfect man for the company to revolve around and to lead the company into a new direction. Very much keeping the visionary aspect of his character. Sami Zayn would come out and share his misunderstanding, saying that Seth created his own Bloodline. With Paul and a dog in Bron. Saying that this was a load of crap. Hinting Seth might have been jealous of Punk and Roman because of their past relationship with Paul. Seth was shocked by what Sami was accusing him of. He then says if Sami wasn’t with them then he would be a target. Seth was prepared to use his resources to aid Sami in getting him to Smackdown instead of Raw. Giving Sami into the end of the night.

GREAT Rhea Ripley Vs Roxanne Perez: WWE Raw April 28 2025 First Match
Rhea and Roxanne have great chemistry and it was on display here. Roxanne was given the chance to control the pacing and work on Rhea’s knee. Brilliant psychology displayed like being unable to fully get a pin with Rhea holding her knee. Roxanne also works with being able to bump and sell for the power of Rhea. The razor’s edge bump was great. Giulia comes out, continuing to display her new found friendship with Roxanne. Having moments where she distracted Rhea and allowed Roxanne to take control. Giulia is also the difference maker and is why the match ends in DQ. Attacking Rhea RIpley, the new duo would beat her down. Iyo Sky would end up making the save in contrast to last week’s Rhea save.
Results: Rhea Ripley by DQ via Giulia Interference

GREAT Logan Paul Promo:
Logan claims he has done everything in this business without any accolades? Paul would continue to talk about being so great. Saying that the current world champion did not resemble a “true legend.” Jey Uso came out and interrupted him. Uso would mention the fire being lit under him and it not going out anytime soon. Telling Logan that the world championship is earned, not given. Logan mentions doing more in his career than Jey’s 15 year career? Soon Jey would connect with a superkick to Logan.

GREAT War Raiders Vs Finn Balor and JD McDonagh:
This is a fun tag match that gets some time. Obviously it is kinda funny JD has to return from injury in the ring with the War Raiders. JD even gets a springboard moonsault on them again. New Day are on commentary and continue to talk badly about the Raiders and are involved when Finn is thrown into them. Carlito’s apple distracts the ref and Penta ends up knocking JD off of the turnbuckle. Raiders get the win with War Machine.
Results: War Raiders by Pinfall via War Machine on JD McDonagh

AMAZING Becky Lynch and Lyra Valkyria Promo:
Becky reveals that she did attack Bayley after reviewing the footage herself. Using the many years of Bayley targeting her and making an enemy of her. Becky goes on to mention how Bayley doesn’t feel like a top caliber star out of the four horsewomen. Which she said in other interviews. Claiming that a top star appeared at Wrestlemania. Becky goes on to say that Bayley had already effected Lyra, someone she had hope for in this business. Calling Lyra a loser after saying the friend of her enemy is also her enemy.
Lyra would come out and say that people did warn her about Becky Lynch. Saying that she didn’t want to believe it about someone she looked up to. Lyra taunted Becky as if she was going to attack her and Becky left the ring. Valkyria ended up egging Becky along, mentioning how Lyra beat her the last time they competed. Also saying she would happily put the title she has made important on the line against her at Backlash. Lyra hit a dropkick through the ropes that looked great. The brawl ended with Becky retreating through the crowd and Lyra standing tall.

GREAT Stephanie Vaquer Vs Ivy Nile:
This is just a really solid match. No interference, no outside garbage, only Chad Gable appearing. Both women are able to compete in a technical war here. Enjoyable transitions and grappling along with submissions. Vaquer gets several instances of the devil’s kiss. Ivy got control after Vaquer was in Gable’s face. She got a great slam that she has been using this year. Shortly after Stephanie got the dragon screw along with the SVB. Easily Ivy’s best match we have seen her in.
Results: Stephanie Vaquer by Pinfall via SVB

MUST WATCH Pat McAfee Promo:
Pat McAfee pours his heart out talking about who he is as a person. Mentioning himself as a hard worker, someone who has put in the work to create a brand. Also remembering just who he was. He mentions being a loyal till the end type of guy especially for Michael Cole. He says that he would do it any day, defending his best friend in the WWE from Gunther. Wanting to kick his ass and not liking the suspension. Nick Aldis, filling in for Adam comes out and after a bit Nick announces that Pat could face Gunther at Backlash. Pat agrees to face Gunther.

MUST WATCH Sami Zayn and Seth Rollins Promo:
Seth comes out alone and Sami out in street clothes. Saying the same thing about leading the business into the future and it being his job. This takes a personal turn as they are talking about their children. Their past as friends and saying just how close the two of them were. This is a real conversation between Seth and Sami. Sami mentions that he was sorry for hurting Seth if he did. Claiming that Seth was always better at playing games and now Seth was dangling the WWE championship in front of him like a carrot. Sami didn’t want to be threatened and to be manipulated by his own friend. Sami said he loved him but told Seth to go to hell. Seth’s face said it all before Bron Breakker’s theme hit.

GREAT Bron Breakker with Seth and Heyman Vs Sami Zayn: WWE Raw April 28 2025 Main Event
Bron Breakker easily dominates Sami Zayn in street clothes. Someone who took the fight on without being ready. It’s a basic built match that takes the turn when Sami gets speared twice. Psychologically Sami is able to show how broken he was. Amazing at conveying pain through his face. Seth saying that Sami still had a chance but Sami told him to go to hell again. Breakker hit another spear before hitting the running super spear on the outside in front of Seth commanding his monster. Once back in the ring the ref stops the match.
Results: Bron Breakker by Ref Stoppage
