The fallout from NXT Vengeance Day was a great show. Match quality was pretty weak in parts, but the main event which showcased just how incredible Jordynne Grace is, was able to make up for some of the lacklustre contests we got. The storytelling was the high point of NXT this week, as we got the contract signing of Ricky Saints, which set up two individual feuds for him with Ethan Page and Wes Lee. This segment did a great job of allowing Ricky to show his class on the microphone, he delivered some great one-liners to both guys. As his first match in NXT is announced, where he will team up with Je’Von Evans to take on both Ethan and Wes. Of course we can’t talk about this week’s NXT, without the incredible start we got where Oba Femi and Moose came face to face for the first time. They did a great job of making you want to see this matchup happen, even more than we already did. One thing I would’ve perhaps liked to have seen more of, is a bigger focus on this faction that has been causing chaos in NXT over the past few days. We saw some wrestlers laid out backstage after seemingly getting beaten up by the new group, but maybe a short promo outlining why they are doing what they are doing in NXT would’ve been a good idea. Very newsworthy NXT this week, even if the match quality wasn’t at a great standard, storytelling was on fire and we got some great moments to talk about in the lead up to NXT’s next show on the road.
Coming off the back of a very noteworthy NXT Vengeance Day, WWE’s third brand is back for the fallout this week. Jordynne Grace appears after she made her shock return last Saturday. Jaida Parker will take on Kelani Jordan and Karmen Petrovic, as they battle it out to see who Stephanie Vaquer’s first title challenger will be. Of course we have the NXT contract signing for the man that shall not be named for now. Let’s get into the review!
GREAT Oba Femi and Moose Segment
Talk about kicking things off with a bang. Oba Femi was visibly frustrated to kick off NXT, as he demanded that the group that took him out at Vengeance Day come out to the ring and finish the job. But to Oba’s surprise… he was met with a different face, the TNA X-Division Champion, Moose. Both men agreed the match has to happen between them, in what was a very well done segment which immediately got you hyped for that potential matchup if you weren’t already.

GOOD Jaida Parker vs Kelani Jordan vs Karmen Petrovic
This match started off with some timing and miscommunication issues, but it overcame those problems as the contest went on. We saw some really nice sequences between these three, as Jaida Parker was able to showcase her power and strength, while Kelani Jordan showed her high-flying style well. But it was Karmen Petrovic who came out on top, and she will face Stephanie Vaquer for the NXT Women’s North American Championship next week. After the match, Fatal Influence proceeded to take out the new Number 1 Contender though. Giulia, Stephanie Vaquer and Jordynne Grace came to the rescue, as Jordynne announced she will team up with Stephanie and Giulia to face Fatal Influence later on in the show!
Result: Karmen Petrovic by Pinfall via Pinning Kelani Jordan

GOOD Lash Legend and Jakara Jackson vs Zaria and Sol Ruca
Fun tag team match, although I did expect slightly more. There were some cool moments though, including an awesome staredown between the two powerhouses in the match, in Zaria and Lash Legend. Speaking of Zaria, she had a great showing and was really able to show the NXT universe her strengths for the first time since her first couple of matches in NXT. The duo of Sol Ruca and Zaria is a lot of fun, so it is a great idea to give this tag team a little push.
Result: Zaria and Sol Ruca by Pinfall via Sol Snatcher

AMAZING Ricky Saints NXT Contract Signing
Well we finally know what the name in NXT is going to be, and it is Ricky Saints. I think the name works fine, it won’t hold Ricky back and it is definitely something I can see fitting in well on a poster. The contract signing was very nicely done, we got to see some of Ricky’s fantastic promo work that we know he is capable of. As he hit Ethan Page with some great one-liners, as well as Wes Lee who we know will be facing Saints in his in-ring debut.

GOOD Channing “Stacks” Lorenzo vs Shawn Spears
There was extra security for this match, after what happened backstage where multiple wrestlers had been visibly attacked. That kind of took away from the contest slightly, but there wasn’t anything too special going on in the ring anyway. Shawn Spears ended up winning the match in fairly quick time, with this going just over five minutes.
Result: Shawn Spears by Pinfall via C4

SQUASH Andre Chase vs Eddy Thorpe
Andre Chase was supported in this match by some new Chase U students. This then fired up Chase who started to pick up some momentum against Eddy Thorpe. Unfortunately this all brought back the Chase U memories to Mr Chase, which Eddy capitalised on to help him get the win.
Result: Eddy Thorpe by Pinfall via Impaler DDT

GREAT Giulia, Stephanie Vaquer and Jordynne Grace vs Fatal Influence
If there was any doubt who has the best Women’s Division in wrestling, just look at the talent in this main event. This was a match that showcased each woman in this tremendous trio of Giulia, Stephanie Vaquer and particularly Jordynne Grace. This was Jordynne’s first NXT match as an official member of the brand, so the focus was more on her as it should’ve been. As she once again showed there aren’t many wrestlers as good as her in the ring right now, she is so smooth with everything she does, which is mind-boggling when you see the moves she is pulling out. The Juggernaut got the win for her team in the end, as she now makes a decision on what title she will be going after in NXT.
Result: Giulia, Stephanie Vaquer and Jordynne Grace by Pinfall via Juggernaut Driver
