WWE have confirmed several shows for WrestleMania week.
Next weekend is the Royal Rumble, which means WrestleMania is only a matter of months away. This year’s WrestleMania is set to take place from the AT&T Stadium in Arlington, Texas for the first time in six years, as WWE held WrestleMania 32 there back in 2016.
For the past few years, WrestleMania week has consisted of Raw, SmackDown, Hall Of Fame Ceremony, NXT TakeOver and of course, WrestleMania. However since NXT rebranded to 2.0 and dropped the ‘TakeOver’ name, the likelihood of an NXT WrestleMania week show taking place decreased.
NXT haven’t yet held a show outside of the Performance Center in Orlando, Florida since the rebrand, however WWE have announced that they will be heading to Texas to be part of WrestleMania week.
Last year saw the debut of ‘NXT TakeOver: Stand And Deliver’, and while the ‘TakeOver’ name has been dropped, Stand And Deliver will still take place on WrestleMania week.
As well as this, WWE have confirmed that Raw, SmackDown, Hall Of Fame Ceremony and Axxess will all take place in the run up to WrestleMania in the Dallas area, however exact locations and dates have yet to be revealed.
Another notable announcement for WrestleMania weekend is Axxess, with the company not holding one on WrestleMania weekend the past two years. Last year’s WrestleMania from Tampa, Florida had a Superstore, however other than that WrestleMania was the only show that fans could attend.
WrestleMania 38 will take place on Saturday, April 2nd and Sunday, April 3rd, following the two-day schedule WWE have used for the past two years.
