The idea of single runs for The Street Profits was in the air during the nights of the 2021 Draft.
The triple crown tag team was the 1st pick of the fourth round on Monday WWE Draft Night 2 edition of RAW. Montez and Dawkins are back in the red brand after they were moved to SmackDown on last year’s Draft.
According to PWInsider, there was some serious consideration on breaking up the tag-team, with Montez Ford drafted to RAW besides his wife Bianca Belair and Dawkins would have stayed on SmackDown.
The idea was strong among the executives, but they eventually scrapped it and decided at Friday’s SmackDown to split T-BAR and MACE instead, announcing it during Saturday’s Talking Smack episode.
The Street Profits have already held the RAW tag team champions, the SmackDown tag team champions, and the NXT tag team champions becoming the second Triple Crown Tag Team in WWE history.
