After making her return to the ring at Wargames, multi-time champion Becky Lynch is Wrestling Republic’s Wrestler of the Day for November 27th.

    Becky Lynch Biography:

    Birth Name: Rebecca Quin

    Age: 35 (January 30th, 1987)

    Height: 5’6

    Weight: 135 pounds

    Debut: 2002

    Place of Birth: Limerick, Ireland

Accolades: 2x WWE Raw Women’s Champion, 4x WWE SmackDown Women’s Champion, Women’s Royal Rumble Winner (2019)

‘The Man’ returned to the ring yesterday in victorious fashion, helping Team Belair to victory at Wargames. In honor of her return, Lynch is today’s Wrestler of the Day.

Becky Lynch wrestled on the indie scene in Europe before signing with WWE in 2013. Lynch was part of the class that also included Bayley, Charlotte Flair, and Sasha Banks. Lynch, Banks, and Flair made their main roster debut as a part of Stephanie McMahon’s revolution in 2015.

After feuding with members of the main roster, Lynch made history by becoming the first SmackDown Women’s Champion. Her inaugural reign ended at 84 days when Alexa Bliss defeated Lynch in a tables match. She really began to gain popularity during her feud with Charlotte Flair in 2018.

Lynch defeated Flair at Hell in a Cell to become SmackDown Women’s Champion for a second time. This was the beginning of ‘The Man’ which included Becky Lynch winning the Women’s Royal Rumble in 2019 as a last-second entry. She became Becky Belts when she beat Asuka and then Ronda Rousey and Charlotte Flair. This made Lynch both SmackDown and Raw Women’s Champion.

In total, Becky Lynch has won six championships during her time in WWE and has been one of the top stars. In addition, Lynch married and had a child with fellow WWE Superstar Seth Rollins. Most recently, Lynch was part of the winning team during the women’s Wargames match.
