Earlier today Bray Wyatt was shockingly released from WWE, with the reported reason behind it being ‘budget cuts’. It’s safe to say the release hasn’t gone down well with the wrestling world, with fans slamming the company for releasing the star. However fans aren’t the only ones.

WWE legend, Mickie James, replied to WWE’s tweet about the release, slamming the company for giving Bray Wyatt’s gimmick to Alexa Bliss before releasing him. She tweeted out “I think what you meant to say was: “Thank you so much for coming up with such an incredible gimmick(time & time again)one so cool & over, we really didn’t know how to book it right. So we just gave it to someone else so we can still make ALL the money off of it & let you go🤷🏻‍♀️ 🤯”

Mickie James then followed this up with another tweet which clarified that she wasn’t slamming Alexa Bliss in her original tweet.

“This isn’t against Alexa. I love her. She’s an incredible performer who is killing it in a role she was given. She always does. We as artists take every role we’re given & turn it into gold. He, she, they both did that. Like it/not. Facts are facts. So sorry if that offends you.”

Before setting her Twitter account to private, Alexa Bliss tweeted out thanking Wyatt for what he has done for WWE. “I really am at a loss for words… thank you so much Windham for everything you’ve done for this company. The most fun I’ve had is working with you. Such an amazing talent & the most kind person. I’m just in shock.”

WWE SmackDown Superstar & star of the hit Disney Star Wars spin-off ‘The Mandalorian’, Sasha Banks, also tweeted out her support by simply saying “He’s got the world in his hands 💙 @WWEBrayWyatt”

Impact Wrestling star Chris Bey took to Twitter to say “Whole time, Bray Wyatt finna set movies or wrestling a BLAZE if he wants to. He’s so smart and creative and just a good dude”
