According to Fightful Select, the rumor going around the WWE at the moment is that Vince McMahon is planning to make NXT 2.0 an edgier product.
It is also reported that this edgier version of the product may be a plan to target the P18-34 demographic and they would reportedly do this by introducing harsher language and a more aggressive in ring style. Another idea for NXT is for it to “keep up with current affairs with promos and character verbiage”.
