Two ROH Championship Matches Added To ROH Final Battle.

Dalton Castle will team up with The Boys once more in an ROH World Six Man Tag Team Championship match against The Embassy after debuting on the December 7 edition of AEW Dynamite in a battle royal (Brian Cage, Bishop Kaun, & Toa Liona). Recent episodes of AEW Dark featured trios action involving The Embassy.
Dalton Castle and The Boys have defended the ROH World Six-Man Tag Team Championships twice since winning the titles in July.

ROH Final Battle will also feature a Double Dog Collar ROH World Tag Team Championship match between FTR and The Briscoes.

FTR (Dax Harwood & Cash Wheeler) competed against The Acclaimed for the AEW World Tag Team Championship in the main event of the December 7 episode of AEW Dynamite. The Acclaimed won the tough battle toward the game’s conclusion.

After the bell, The Gunns—Austin and Colten Gunn—delivered a message to Harwood and Wheeler to make matters worse.
Austin and Colten delivered the ROH World Tag Team Champion a gift in the spirit of the season—a card. The Briscoes (Mark and Jay Briscoe) challenged FTR to a bout at ROH Final Battle in the ostensibly blood-written text.

FTR previously defeated The Briscoes to capture the gold at ROH Supercard of Honor. In July, Harwood and Wheeler beat Jay and Mark Briscoe at ROH Death Before Dishonor.

Tony Khan said that future episodes of AEW will have fewer Ring of Honor storylines during today’s Final Battle Media Call. Khan also hinted that information about ROH’s television situation would be disclosed after the Final Battle.

A Zero Hour pre-show with matches expected to be announced Friday on Rampage:

ROH Final Battle from Arlington, Texas:

    • ROH Champion Chris Jericho defends against Claudio Castagnoli
    • ROH Tag Team Champions FTR defend against The Briscoes in a double dog collar match
    • ROH TV Champion Samoa Joe defends against Juice Robinson
    • ROH Women’s Champion Mercedes Martinez defends against Athena
    • ROH Pure Champion Daniel Garcia defends against Wheeler Yuta
    • ROH Six-Man Tag Team Champions Dalton Castle & The Boys defend against The Embassy
    • Swerve in our Glory vs. Shane Taylor & JD Griffey
