Mike Bennett and Maria Kanellis are possibly returning to Impact Wrestling.
On the latest Wrestling Observer Newsletter by Dave Meltzer, Mike Bennett appears to be headed back to Impact, and that brings speculation on his wife Maria Kanellis returning with him.
Meltzer pointed out that Bennett was recently pulled out of a January indie booking and the promoter was reportedly told that there was a scheduling conflict with a set of Impact tapings. Mike and Maria are currently free agents as they were under contract to ROH until the promotion went on a hiatus that is expected to end in April 2022.
The last time Mike and Maria worked for Impact wrestling was from January 2016 to March 2017. Mike is a former X Division Champion while Maria is a former Knockouts Champion.
There’s no word yet on when Mike and Maria might make their Impact wrestling returns.
