Welcome to another edition of Wrestling Republic’s coverage of Joshi Puroresu. This time, we’ll put the focus on Tokyo Joshi Pro-Wrestling and its latest event.
The promotion has recently held Tokyo Joshi Pro-Wrestling ’23, which took place from the Korakuen Hall in Tokyo, Japan and presented some very interesting in-ring action. So, with nothing else to say, here are the full results of TJPW’s Tokyo Joshi Pro-Wrestling ’23 event:
- TJPW kicked off the event by announcing their first long-awaited show in America. ‘TJPW Live in Los Angeles’ is scheduled to take place from the Globe Theater in Los Angeles, California on March 31st.
- Singles Match: Yuki Aino defeated HIMAWARI by pinfall – Aino pinned HIMAWARI after hitting the Venus DDT.
- Tag Team Match: Juria Nagano & Moka Miyamoto defeated Arisu Endo & Wakana Uehara by submission – Moka submitted Wakana with the Rashomon.
- 6-Woman Tag Team Match: Nao Kakuta, Mahiro Kiryu & Kaya Toribami defeated Raku, Pom Harajuku & Haruna Neko by pinfall – Nao pinned Neko after hitting the Shiden Kai.
- Singles Match: Shoko Nakajima vs Hyper Misao ended in a draw
- Princess of Princess Championship #1 Contender Battle Royale: Mizuki defeated Rika Tatsumi, Maki Itoh, Hikari Noa, Yuki Kamifuku & Suzume to become the new #1 Contender to the Princess of Princess Championship – Mizuki last eliminated Maki by pinning her after hitting the Cutie Special.
- TJPW International Princess Championship, Singles Match: Miu Watanabe (c) defeated Trish Adora to retain the TJPW International Princess Title – Miu pinned Trish after hitting the Tear Drop, V2 for the champion.
- TJPW Princess Tag Team Championship, Tag Team Match: Wasteland War Party (Heidi Howitzer & Max The Impaler) defeated Saki Akai & Yuki Arai (c) to become the new TJPW Princess Tag Team Champions – Max pinned Arai after Heidi hit a Diving Body Press off Max’s shoulder.
- TJPW Princess of Princess Championship, Singles Match: Yuka Sakazaki (c) defeated Miyu Yamashita to retain the TJPW Princess of Princess Title – Yuka pinned Miyu after hitting the Magical Girl Niwatori Yaro, V2 for the champion.
- Shortly after the match ended, #1 Contender Mizuki made her way to the ring to confront Princess of Princess Champion -as well as her best friend and tag team partner- Yuka Sakazaki. Both women promise each other to bring their best when they collide for the Princess of Princess Title.
