The Rock in a new interview reveals that presidential run is now “off the table” as he focuses on his family and businesses.
The Rock is a WWE legend, a Hollywood superstar and an owner of the XFL but, what The Rock will not be is the president of the United States of America.
The “Peoples Champion” has dominated every field he has been in and had in the past talked about a presidential run. Dwayne Johnsons show “Young Rock” is even based in an alternative future where he is running for president.
However The Rock has since stated that a run for President of the United States is probably unlikely.
In an interview with CBS Sunday Morning The Rock stated “Yes. It is off the table. I will say this because it requires a B-side to this. I love our country and everyone in it. I also love being a daddy. And that’s the most important thing to me is being a daddy, number one…” (H/T Thirsty for News)
It seems that “The Peoples Champion” will not be “The Peoples President” anytime soon.
What does this mean for a Rock return?
The Rock will continue in his other roles as a actor, producer and business man while focusing on his family.
We will however, have to wait and see if the long rumored match with Roman Reigns is in the plans for “The Great One”.
While he may not be the next President, The Rock is a WWE legend and with his Hollywood credibility he could be facing his cousin current WWE & WWE Universal Champion Roman Reigns in a long awaited match.
Roman Reigns has been adding members of his family to “The Bloodline”, and with honorary Uce Sami Zayn being the center of some slight fighting in the family, WWE could be setting up the dream match we’ve all been waiting for since the dawn of the “Head of the Table” gimmick for Roman Reigns.
