The Street Profits and Bobby Lashley interrupt Rey Mysterio and LWO challenges them to a match. The Street Profits would take the victory.
On the September 15th edition of Friday Night SmackDown Rey Mysterio came out to address the crowd.
Mysterio came out with Zelina Vega, Santos Escobar, Joaquin Wilde, and Cruz Del Toro (The LWO).
Rey Mysterio would Thabo the LWO for all of the love and support they have given him through his reign. He also said how grateful he is for all of them.
Santos Escobar would interrupt Mysterio thanking him for stepping up to challenge Austin Theory when he was injured.
He would then challenge Rey Mysterio for the United States Championship. He said it was with “nothing but love and admiration for his idol”.
Mysterio would accept the challenge. Bobby Lashley, Montez Ford, and Angelo Dawkins would interrupt.
They criticized Mysterio for just giving out challenges for the United States Championship, comparing him to Opera.
Cruz Del Toro and Joaquin Wilde challenged the Street Profits to a tag team match, which they accepted. Shortly after, a referee came to the ring to make the match official.
The Street Profits would pick up the win with a quick and dominant match.
After the Match Bobby Lashley came up to the apron and gave the orders to attack Cruz and Wilde.
The rest of LWO would try to fight the profits off, but failed at their attempt. Lashley, Ford, and Dawkins left the LWO and Rey Mysterio laying in the ring as they left.
Fans are excited to see this new side of The Street Profits with the guidance of Bobby Lashley.
