On a recent episode of AEW Rampage new number one contenders were crowned for the ROH World Tag Team Championships.
On the September 22nd edition of Aew Rampage: Grand Slam a four way tag match was held. The winner of the match will have the chance to face the ROH World Tag Team Champions.
The match was Jeff and Matt Hard (The Hardys), versus Trent Berreta and Chuck Taylor (The Best Friends), versus Mike Bennett and Matt Taven (The Kingdom), versus Vincent and Dutch (The Righteous).
Right as the bell rang it was a straight up brawl with all men. It was hard to watch only one team be abused. There was so much going on.
The match was hard-hitting and exciting to watch, keeping fans on the edge kf their seats. One team was seen to be very dominant the entire match.
The Kingdom was so close to taking the win after hitting a pile driver on Taylor. Sadly Trent would break up the pin.
Jeff Hardy would hit a Swanton bomb on Taylor taking him out. The Righteous would then take out Hardy.
Vincent would pull out the win for the Righteous after hitting Taylor with a Redrum and scoring game pinfall.
After the match the Kingdom was upset with their loss. They would take their anger out on the Best Friends.
Since Vincent and Dutch (the Righteous) have won the four way tag team match they have become the number one contenders.
They will challenge the current World Tag Team Champions Adam Cole and MJF at WrestleDream on October 1st.
