Former WWE superstar Tegan Nox has highly praised the mental health support she received will with the company.

Back in 2017, Nox signed with the WWE and during her run with the company, she unfortunately suffered a handful of injuries. Before she participated in the Mae Young Classic, she has torn her ACL and was side-lined from in-ring completion for nearly a year. Furthermore, she would suffer a further tear in her ACL as well as her MCL, LCL and meniscus. Now, Nox has revealed how the WWE’s Mental Health Support Team helped her cope and recover with her injuries.

Appearing on Taylor Wilde’s Wilde On Podcast, Nox would disclose how after her second operation, she was in a bad place mentally. However, after she had a discussion with a coach, she was provided the help she needed immediately.

“What I’ve found that the Performance Centre is really good for is, they are very into people’s mental health. At one point, during the second knee surgery, I was in a really bad place and I told one of the coaches. Within hours, I was in a therapy session with one of their people. It was also so quick. They just want to help make your mind right. If your mind is not right, nothing else is going to be right. It’s good to have a place where you can do that sort of stuff. ‘Oh, I’m having a bad day.’ They give me this therapy, so I’m going to take full advantage of it. It helped a lot. It helped so much. The medical facility is great, all my doctors are fantastic, but having that mental health is next level. You never experience that one the Indies or anywhere else. It was really cool to see how quickly they moved on it.”

Sadly, Nox was a part of the recent batch of wrestlers released from the company back on the 18th of November. Now, she is ready to join any promotion she wishes after her no-compete clause expires.
