Welcome to another edition of Wrestling Republic’s coverage of Joshi Puroresu. This time, we’ll put the focus on STARDOM and it’s latest event.
The promotion has recently held the first night of their brand-new Trios Tag League, the STARDOM Triangle Derby. The event took place from the Yokohama Budokan in Yokohama, Kanagawa and presented some very interesting in-ring action.
So, with nothing else to say, here are the full results of Night 1 of the STARDOM Triangle Derby 2023:
STARDOM TRIANGLE DERBY 2023, Night 1 Results
- 3-Way Match: Rina defeated Miyu Amasaki & Hina – Rina pinned Hina with a Jacknife Roll pin.
- Triangle Derby 2023: Club Venus (Mina Shirakawa, Xia Brookside & Mariah May) defeated Lollipop (Waka Tsukiyama, Rina Amikura & Yuko Sakurai) – Xia pinned Waka after hitting the Brooksie Bomb.
- Triangle Derby 2023: PROMINENCE (Risa Sera, Suzu Suzuki & Kurumi Hiiragi) defeated UNIQUE GLARE (Starlight Kid, Haruka Umesaki & Ruaka) – Suzu pinned Ruaka after hitting Gran Maestro de Tequila.
- Triangle Derby 2023: Gold Ship (Natsuko Tora, Momo Watanabe & Saki Kashima) defeated H&M’s (Mayu Iwatani, Hanan & Momo Kohgo) – Saki pinned Momo after Gold Ship hit a B-Driver, Swanton Bomb and Diving Foot Stomp combo.
- Triangle Derby 2023: MaiHime with C (Maika, Himeka & Lady C) defeated COSMIC ANGELS (Tam Nakano, Natsupoi & SAKI) – Maika pinned Natsupoi after reversing the Fairy’s Blink.
- Triangle Derby 2023: 7Uppp (Nanae Takahashi, Yuu & Yuna Mizumori) defeated Classmates (Hazuki, Koguma & Saya Iida) – Nanae pinned Iida.
- Triangle Derby 2023: Queen’s Quest (Utami Hayashishita, Saya Kamitani & AZM) & Rampage GE (Syuri, MIRAI & Ami Sohrei) battled to a 15 minute time-limit draw.
- Triangle Derby 2023: Rebel x Enemy (Ram Kaichow, Maika Ozaki & Maya Yukihi) defeated Bari Bari Bombers (Giulia, Thekla & Mai Sakurai) – Maya submitted Sakurai with the Whiteout Submission.
- Shortly after the match ended PROMINENCE’s Suzu Suzuki came to the ring to confront the new World of Stardom Champion Giulia. Suzu challenges Giulia to a title match and the champion accepts, with the match made official for February 4th in Osaka.
