Welcome to another edition of Wrestling Republic’s coverage of Joshi Puroresu. This time, we’ll put the focus on STARDOM and it’s latest event.
The promotion has recently hosted another show of their brand-new Trios Tag League, the STARDOM TRIANGLE DERBY I. The event took place from the Nagoya Congress Center in Nagoya, Aichi and presented some very interesting in-ring action.
So, with nothing else to say, here are the full results of STARDOM TRIANGLE DERBY I in Nagoya:
STARDOM TRIANGLE DERBY I Night 3 (Nagoya) Results
- STARDOM Rumble: Super Strong Stardom Machine defeated Saya Iida, Momo Kohgo, Lady C, Ruaka, Yuna Mizumori, Hazuki, Koguma, MIRAI, Miyu Amasaki & AZM – Super Strong Stardom Machine last eliminated AZM over the top rope to win the STARDOM Rumble.
- 6-Woman Tag Team Match: Club Venus (Mina Shirakawa, Xia Brookside & Mariah May) defeated Oedo Tai (Natsuko Tora, Saki Kashima & Rina) – Mina pinned Saki after hitting Glamorous Driver MINA.
- TRIANGLE DERBY I Match: Bari Bari Bombers (Giulia, Thekla & Mai Sakurai) defeated Lollipop (Waka Tsukiyama, Rina Amikura & Yuko Sakurai) – Mai pinned Waka after hitting a Diving Rolling Guillotine Leg Drop.
- TRIANGLE DERBY I Match: PROMINENCE (Risa Sera, Suzu Suzuki & Kurumi Hiiragi) defeated COSMIC ANGELS (Tam Nakano, Natsupoi & SAKI) – Suzu pinned Natsupoi with the German Suplex Hold.
- Special All Star Tag Team Match: Syuri & Mayu Iwatani battled to a 30 minute time-limit draw against Utami Hayashishita & Maika.
- Wonder of Stardom Championship, Singles Match: Saya Kamitani (c) defeated Future of Stardom Champion Ami Sohrei to retain the Wonder of Stardom Title – Saya pinned Ami after hitting the Firebird Splash, V13 for the champion.
- Shortly after the match ended, Saya stated she wants Oedo Tai’s Momo Watanabe to be her next challenger. If Saya beats Momo, who is currently out of action due to illness, she will become the champion with most Wonder of Stardom title defenses in history.
