Once again, Samoa Joe has been released by the WWE.
Samoa Joe was originally released from the WWE last April among another wave of talent roster cuts, but was saved personally by Triple H. As he would bring him back to NXT as an authority role, which he would transition into an in-ring competitor as he would beat Karrion Kross for the NXT championship at Takeover 36.
Now, as reported by Fightful. Samoa Joe has once again been released by the WWE. At the time, no reason has been given for his release. However, yesterday many backstage individuals within NXT were released as many believe this is to get rid of Triple H’s influence within NXT. As well, we have recently seen the release of Gabe Sapolsky from the company as Sapolsky was most known for being the owner of Evolve wrestling, which the WWE acquired to air on the network.
The last appearance of Joe in NXT was when he relinquished the NXT Title due to a medical injury (Which has never been disclosed) and then Joe was seen this month at WWE try outs. For now, Joe has not commented on his second release and it is unsure if Joe will return to Impact Wresting or try out his luck in the land of the Elite
