It seems an explosive star studded match could be in the works for this year’s WrestleMania.
As reported earlier, it seems that the former RAW Woman’s Champion Ronda Rousey could be making a comeback to the company after her departure from the company, back in April of 2019 after her WrestleMania match against Becky Lynch and Charlotte Flair. It was reported that Rousey is heavily rumoured to be making an appearance at the upcoming Royal Rumble Premium Live Event.
Now, it is being reported by Dave Meltzer of the Wrestling Observer Newsletter (WON), that it is looking like Becky Lynch versus Ronda Rousey is all but planned for WrestleMania. Meltzer would also suggest that Rousey is “likely” to participate within the Rumble, however he does comment that WWE should tread carefully and avoid a situation similar to Roman Reigns at the 2015 Royal Rumble (In which fans rejected Reigns as the winner of that years Rumble) by having her not eliminate fan favourite wrestlers from the Rumble.
As well. Meltzer speculates the reason for this match up in the first place, is to gather main stream media attention towards the WWE and the upcoming WrestleMania and WWE feel this match up will do the job.
