On June 2nds edition of Friday Night SmackDown Triple H presented Roman Reigns a new belt after marking a historic title reign.
Roman Reigns has been the Undisputed Universal HeavyWeight Champion for over 1,000 days.
Roman Reigns title reign began 3 years ago back on August 30th, 2020 by defeating Bray Wyatt.
Two years later on April 2nd, 2022, Reigns defended Brock Lesnar to gain both the Universal Championship and the WWE Heavyweight Championship Titles at WrestleMania 38
It was later announced that the titles had been unified.
At WrestleMania 39 Roman Reigns defeated Cody Rhodes marking 3 years in a row winning at WrestleMania and retaining his titles.
Roman Reigns has defeated many superstars to obtain the title. Superstars to the likes of Cody Rhodes, Big E, Sami Zayn, Kevin Owens, and many more.
Reign’s title reign has lasted longer than many WWE Hall of Famers and legends alike. There are still 3 WWE Legends and Hall of Famers that have a longer title reign. They are Hulk Hogan, Bob Backlund, and Bruno Sammartino.
Triple H presented Reigns his new title belt at the end of June 2nds SmackDown.
Triple H went on to boast about Roman Reigns and his great accolades. Roman Reigns came out to the ring with Paul Heyman and Solo Sikoa.
Jimmy and Jey Uso came out to the celebration even though they were specifically not invited.
Reigns made Sikoa choose between his brother Jimmy and Jey and Reigns. Sikoa seemingly chose his brothers at first, but ultimately chose Reigns. Sikoa attacked Jimmy in a show of faith to Roman Reigns.
