Tyler Bate makes his main roster debut and the Authors of Pain and Paul Ellering have made their return to WWE.
On the January 5th edition of Friday Night SmackDown New Year’s Revolution the Rezar and Akam, the Authors of Pain returned to WWE.
Bobby Lashley addressed the entire WWE universe acknowledging how tough the 2023 year was because he did not have the results he wanted to have.
Lashley would go on to talk about the Street Profits looking to take the Undisputed Tag Team Titles from the Judgment Day. He also declared himself for the 2024 Men’s Royal Rumble.
Scarlette, Karrion Kross, and Paul Ellering would interrupt and make their presence known. AOP quickly attacked Bobby Lashley, Angelo Dawkins, and Montez Ford from behind.
Kross sent Lashley into the steel steps after AOP return to lay out the Street Profits out. Then they all stood together showing a unified new faction.
Later that night Tyler Bate would make his WWE main roster debut. Bate would be revealed as Butch’s mystery partner and they would take on Pretty Deadly.
Bate wasted no time putting on the offensive maneuvers. Then Bates and Butch would flip out of the ring to take down Pretty Deadly. Later in the match Butch swings Prince helicopter style, dropping him in a dizzy pile.
To win the match Bate would hit the Bop and Bang on Wilson. This gave the needed time for Butch and Bate to hit Wilson with a double Tyler Driver 97. They gained a pinfall victory over Pretty Deadly.
