Randy Orton was able to pick what WWE brand he wanted, whether that would be Friday Night SmackDown or Monday Night Raw.
Randy Orton made his highly anticipated return to WWE at WWE Survivor Series in the Men’s War Games match. His team consisted of Cody Rhodes, Jey Uso, Sammi Sane, and Seth Rollins.
The team defeated Judgment Day and Drew McIntyre. On Monday November 27th Randy Orton appeared on Monday Night Raw defeating Dominick Mysterio.
On the December 1st edition of Friday Night SmackDown Orton was greeted in the ring by two important figures with a challenging decision. The General Manager of Monday Night Raw Adam Pearce and SmackDown General Manager Nick Aldis.
The general managers were holding to contracts and would let Orton decide what brand he would like to remain on. Paul Heyman interrupts the meeting.
He says The Bloodline will make his choice for him. Then Jimmy Uso and Solo Sikoa make their way to the ring and attack Orton.
Before the numbers game took over LA Knight made his way out to the ring to assist Orton. Knight enters the brawl and takes Solo Sikoa out to ringside and up the ramp.
Jimmy Uso continues to beat down Orton, not too long later Jimmy is given an RKO curiosity of The Viper.
Orton grabs both contracts and holds them up, then tosses the Raw contract out of the ring. Randy Orton signed the SmackDown contract and it was made official. Randy Orto is a WWE Friday Night SmackDown superstar.
Orton tells Heyman to tell Roman Reigns that “Daddy’s home”. General Manager Nick Aldis held up Orton’s hand as he gained the Viper, but the Viper struck.
Orton gives Aldis and RKO to close out Friday night SmackDown.
