Another AEW wrestler contract expires.
It seems that Lio Rush is not the only wrestler wich contract with AEW is expiring at the beginning of 2022.
PWInsider confirmed that Peter Avalon’s AEW deal recently expired. There is a possibility of him working with the company on a per appearance basis, but there is no confirmation of that or if he is going to sign with AEW again.
He recently announced he was going to begin taking independent bookings.
Avalon made his AEW debut on April 22, 2019, with Being the Elite, having his first match at Fight for the Fallen against Sonny Kiss.
In the edition of AEW Dark on November 24, 2020, he obtained his first victory in AEW by defeating Fuego del Sol. His last appearance was on January 18 at AEW Dark in a tag team match besides JD Drake against Orange Cassidy and Wheeler Yuta
