After last week’s very good episode, we look to see if NXT UK can put on another banger of a show which included a Loser Leaves NXT UK match!

AVERAGE SQUASH: Ilja Dragunov defeated Dave Mastiff via referee stoppage after Mastiff got busted open. This was very strange, but not necessarily terrible.

GOOD: After the match, Dragunov was shown backstage and said that he needs to work on his self control. This was good storytelling.

GOOD: Gallus, minus Joe Coffey, were backstage & Rampage Brown walked up and asked where Joe was & when Wolfgang said he wasn’t there, Brown seemed like he wanted to take on Wolfgang instead.

GREAT: SPRNVA Sessions, hosted by Noam Dar & Sha Samuels started off by Dar saying that it doesn’t matter what other people say about him. He then invites his guest, Nathan Frazer, back onto the show. Nathan Frazer said he changed his name because he has nothing to hide from anyone. Frazer was then asked what he has learned since coming to WWE. Frazer says he’s learned the UK style of wrestling. Samuels then says that it bothers him that Frazer isn’t a true British wrestler. Samuels then called him a fool and a pretender. Dar told Carter he wouldn’t beat him in a Heritage Rules match. Carter said that he accepts. This was a great segment, as they normally are.

GREAT: A package was shown that hyped up the Herriatge Cup Championship match with champion A-Kid v Challenger Tyler Bate. This package was so well put together.

AVERAGE: Trent Seven defeated Saxton Huxley in a decent match.

Result – Trent Seven Wins Via Pinfall

Dakota Cohen WR Star Rating – 3 Stars

GREAT: Kenny Williams defeated Amir Jordan in a No Disqualification, Loser Leaves NXT UK match. This match was very, very good.

Result – Kenny Williams Wins Via Pinfall

Dakota Cohen WR Star Rating – 3.75

This was a very strange episode of NXT UK which started with a squash match that ended in a ref stoppage. After that there were some very entertaining segments & some decent in ring action overall to close out the show. This was not one of the strongest weeks for NXT UK, so hopefully next week they can bounce back with the women’s gauntlet match.

    Show Rating: 7.6
